Next purchase needs to be some riding pants and boots. At least some jeans. Our paramedics had to find a guys foot after a crash that could have been prevented with some riding boots 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@masonthecat7481 Its not that bald dude. The sides are practically brand new, because all this bike has seen is highways. It may be flat spotted in the middle so the transition to lean will feel odd but its going to stick just fine. You can tell from camera that his body is stiff as a board every time that bike leans even a tiny bit.

I’ve seen many videos of skilled bikers leaning and crashing in backroads. It is not a skill issue, public roads are full of surface hazards and are not meant for cornering or racing. If you want to lean, take it to a certified track wearing full gear, this should already be obvious to everyone.

@@Seainfa so essentially he should just stay stiff as a board and never learn how to handle his corners with confidence so that he goes into oncoming traffic the first time he enters a turn with too much speed. Got it bro. Great plan.

When you do almost entirely highway riding your tires are gonna get flat spots and tipping into a corner may feel odd. Tip in anyway, when you’re on the side of the tire it’s gonna feel way more stable. Remember that bikes desperately want to stay on two wheels even when cornering fast. Don’t be afraid to lean with the bike at speed. Corners are only really dangerous in bad conditions, if you’re going way too fast or when you upset the suspension. Keep a consistent speed and you’ll be golden. TLDR: Go get some practice. Stop being afraid to tip into corners at speed and lean with it.
