I've done body work on two of these styles of truck 1970 fleet side and a 1972 suburban. You did an awesome job on customising your truck and body work it looks like it's going to be a street race truck.
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road? We're the pro auto lighting company for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
This is the kind of work I like to see experimental, trial and error, just trying to find a result that YOU love, everyone else's opinion be damned! I'm using a similar approach on my 1970 c10 build. Just having fun with it I don't care to adhere to conventional guide lines. Because I'm not doing a restoration. I'm just building a monster of a truck that pleases me! Keep it up! Live the fenders BTW! Those are bad to the bone!
The tire clearance is around 1.5 inches to the bottom of the fenders, in the video it isn't perfectly set so that's why it seems very close. Thank-you! They most likely will👍
Lookin good !!! Little bit at a time it’s coming together. I’m doing some body work today as well ( inspection due this month lol) not quite as fancy as your work haha just patching holes. I did get a little inspiration from your work though 👍👍
First things first! I was so mad when I found your build. Not at you but at myself I have had my 69 c10 torn apart for over a year and have not made any progress. I love the flares I want to do some on mine. Can I get mor information on the crown vic swap I would like to go that route over a janky mustang 2 kit. Keep up the great work.
Thank you very much! The crown vic front crossmember was quite easy to mount since my chassis was made to fit it exactly. If you have an original c10 chassis, you would have to highly customize it and make the frame wider to adapt the crown vic front end.
Wicked job, just subbed. Im looking to do something similar. Love those flairs on the fenders, Did you fab them? Ill be watching your build from the start tonight.
Thank you very much! Welcome to the build! 🤙 Wheels are 15x10 aero in the rear with 325/50r15 nitto nt555r2 tires and up front it's vision D window 16x8 rims with 265/50r16 toyo proxes r888r
I’m just realizing I missed this video upload by three days. Seeing the Hi-Ram intake is exciting as fuck! Keep up with the badass updates! Looking forward to the engine assembling ! Hearing that first start with the turbos. Sheesh, I’m bout to be wet as fuck . XD You ever just sit back and look at the truck and all of its beauty? Just watching these videos makes me think about the good Ol days of owning a C10 .
Hey man! Thank you🤙 I can't wait to assemble the engine and hear it roar for the first time😎 it's going to be epic! I always love stepping back and admiring what the truck is becoming👍 I appreciate the support and there's lots more videos to come!
@@ag_truckswhat color were you thinking of makin the truck when you come to that point? Bare metal with a clear coat? Olive Green? An original C10 color? I know you’ve talked about this in previous videos, I just can’t find the video.
The inner skin of my tailgate has been cut out to shave some weight so it's basically just the outer skin now. It was easy to unbend by tapping with a hammer in certain spots and applying force but it gets trickier with a factory tailgate.
I have a 1970 Chevy custom, got to use for 3 weeks it was a gift from my uncle sadly I had fallen asleep behind the wheel and crashed messed up the whole front grilled and both front side panel are bent but this and many other videos have inspired me to get back up on my feet and fix it back up love the work your doing bro
Beautiful truck brother… I bought delete plates from LS fab, I also ordered fender flares, going a pro street style truck, what flare did you go with this? I think I have a 3.5” flare which was moderate for the front end
