You can very easily DAILY DRIVE a turbo a Honda if you follow these rules 1. Don’t push your motor, if you motor can handle like 300hp, then don’t go above 250hp 2. Use good parts, you can get away with eBay turbos, they might blow after a little, but don’t cheap out on your wastegate, boost controller or fuel system and clutch 3. Have plenty of fuel, make sure your injectors aren’t running at like 90% duty cycle 4. Maintenance! Use good oil, make sure your coolant is all good, and you have proper cooling 5. If you do all this, and it’s a healthy Motor. Then you should have no problem daily driving it, I’m going to daily mine. I’ve heard of plenty of people dailying theres
@@michianaracingchannel412 I have a question because I’m currently rebuilding my y8 head and was wondering what brand valves do u guys use or do u just use the oem ones ?
Soon to join the 500hp d series club. Going with 76mm forged 9.5:1 pistons, eagle rods, css block. For the head I'm just doing springs and retainers with a RM stage 4 cam. All of this on a y7 engine, no i don't want vtec. Less moving parts and non vtec head flows better when ported anyway. I never see non vtec d series builds, and i dont want to just follow the crowd with a typical vtec motor with no notch rods and vitaras. First goal is 500whp, motor will be good for 7-800 so I'll turn it up as i please
hows the build holdin up so far? (reliable and what not) currently looking @ parts to build my D Series but not sure if i should run Vitara or CP Pistons etc@@michianaracingchannel412
