Basic troubleshooting to ensure all required circuits are functional - another fantastic presentation!!! Good job Richard and Teresa!!! Always enjoy your videos.
One of the many things that keeps me tuned to your channel is; you keep checking all circuits and use top shelf parts known to be worth having from many years of experience 😃👍❤️
Richard rebuilds a transmission and the ' same ' fault is still there... i bet his brain went full hardcore diagnosis... and he did it. So not only was it a full rebuild of the transmission it was also fault diagnosing and repair outside of the transmission.. the man is dedicated to a fault.
I just put that same lift in the shop. Love it. Was called into a repair from hell job on an airplane once that had been down for two weeks. Dudes threw a half a mill of parts at it and still nothing. Wires tested all day fine and the crew insisted the wires tested fine. Same pinched pin problem. No one did a visual inspection. Thirty minute fix then I headed to the bar. Wanna see that OBS Ferd stat! 4R70w or EfortyD?!?
I ran into that and NSS harness problems all the time when I worked at the dealership level. Time consuming sometimes to find these problems. Good job sticking with it
@@richardteresacricheducatio3542 I would almost sweat they use gel super glue instead of dielectric grease on the NSS harness cavities. Just curious that tech manual you mentioned looks like it would be really handy to have on hand as I still get into a tranny job for a friend or relative occasionally. Where might I obtain a copy ? Allison trannys and HD trucks are what ruined my back so please be careful! We never did have proper lifting and handling equipment and lifting them by myself was my demise
I'm a chevy man 100%,but ford has it figured out on transmission. I have 98 f150 with 287,000 miles on still does great, has never had the fluid and filter changed. My son has 06 lariat with almost 300,000 on it still runs strong its only had fluid and filter changed one time.
The content of your brain and knowledge Richard is probably priceless but if I had to put a number on it I would say somewhere in the hundreds of millions 😂
Are you still taking new customers, I had planned on driving up from the Dallas area to let you repair/rebuild mine in my 168k mile Chevy Avalanch Z71 with a 5.3 and I think 4l80? (2003) I've had the transfer case rebuilt but I have not found a place that really had a great reputation around here so I was thinking about driving up and letting you fix my truck. Recently it has started slipping going into 4th. It has never been touched so I have no idea if a fluid change would be worthwhile or not. In any acase as usual it was fun watching your videos.
I must be considered old cause everytime I see these kids driving around with hood stacks I just shake my head in shame🤦 We always did dual exhaust with chrome tips on 90s behind the back tires and back end of the truck always had a rake to it... Now adays its hood stacks back end lower the front spray painting everything black 😥
you got the turbo truck done...... wish I could have seen it. I would like to support the channel but their is only so many tranny teardowns without rebuilds I can watch.
Richard are you familiar with the process of turning down the lugs on a t350 drum and using the 4t80 sprag and the sonnex sprag ring and making the 350 stand about 800 HP or is that made up.?
