@jayrasheed Thanks Jay, I'd have to agree,at the time(about 6 years ago) it was the only bumper that would suit my IC needs,however things change over time and i think if i had another shot i would have just ran a C36 front and concealed the IC behind with water/air or an air/air behind the grill. Im still trying to find a C43 to buy(have tried to convince myself to go with a C36 but keep coming back to the 43)
You'll need alot to do a conversion on your na,the pistons are stock kompressor items,they are plenty strong enough. Manifolds are all custom!. You will likely not be able to use your stock injectors or ECU. See ya on the forum! =)
@fordcrossie Thanks,The audio is really poor,the car sounds much smoother in the flesh with heaps of turbo induction ,I loath bov's - one of the projects was to silence it,however it was difficult without an filter box.though Iv moved onto another engine now so dont have to sort that issue;) have fun with the C36!.
Beautiful and inspiring work. Which ecu do you use? Is the bottom end and head stock? Did you reduce the compression ratio? (If yes, how?) Are the flanges also selfmade?
very nice car(L) but I prefer hearing this engine above the blow off. but still this is a real dream car. I am getting my c36 real soon cant wait for it
We didnt want to over stress the engine,also I was at 80% on the 580cc split spray injectors. Your boost may soon be 13psi but your hardly comparing apples with apples,pressure is only one part of the mix
@matharussia69 Actually yeh its not bad,i did a very basic comparison with a C43 0 - 180 and this comes out 1 - 1.5 seconds faster and the 43 was a rolling start!...so if it had some final drive biasing and better gearing it would do very well.

I'm so inspired by your video I decided to work on my C230 00 K with Koni and Votsgland Spring 40mm F 25mm R, KMAC PolyU F+R , H&R F+R sway bars, Now I'm bored with my power but it handles (almost) like a e46 (bold to say for those who don't own one). I can tell its mostly custom but if you have the time can you give some more specifics on your injectors ? What kind of machine was used to create these componets ? any thing more helps

That's a Lumma front bumper! I have a C36 AMG and I want to buy and fit that bumper onto my car. Is it a direct bolt on fitment or did you need to do other things to the bumper to make it fit? Also I tried looking for this bumper really hard, but nothing. I live in the United States. How much did you pay for the bumper and where can I buy it? Store Website? Phone Number? Shipping Fee?
@Themayseffect Are you in the US? Almost all mercedes sold in the US come with automatic because it's standard. If you bought a mercedes in other regions like Europe, manual is their standard.. It's funny cause manual boxes are cheaper than automatics, so I don't see why the US wastes money for the people who don't know how to drive stick..
PagzNZ, are you referring to the oil pressure sender location or is there another oil pick up point? I have the same engine which I have fitted in my 1987 190E and the next step is to turbo it but the oil feed is giving me a bit of a headache. Thanks, Martyn
