In this video you'll learn why you should turn off VR or IS on your lens when using a tripod to get sharper pictures when doing long exposure. Many times people complain their long exposure pictures are not coming out very sharp and it could be due to the fact that your VR or IS is on. Inside your lens there is a mechanism that moves to counter the camera shake produced through our hands but if the camera is already on on a stable place or on a tripod then that movement in the lens makes your pictures very soft. So when ever your camera is on a stable place or on a tripod make sure to turn the VR or IS feature OFF.
