It's actually very fitting if not vital to a spaghetti western playthrough. Vats is perfect for the whole deadeye theme. Slows time and rapid fires, least by enemies perspective. It's perfect

@@somelonelyshmuck4274 yeah other than the dead eye system in red dead no game mechanic really captures the gunslinger feeling like vats. That is unless you are a lot better at aiming than I am ha..

Just a little tip: Desperados has to go and stay at the bottom of your load order, otherwise many objects in the world will flicker and turn invisible.

@@DegenerateDak That’s fair, I grew a distrust for enbs after using one on new Vegas, broke my game trying to remove it, had to do a clean install.

Another few weapon mods that fit the theme are Caravan Shotgun, Winchester 1897, Remington 1858 and perhaps the Henry Repeating Rifle for some more variety.

Hey Dak, thanks for the suggestions on western style modding. I am not sure if you ever presented the Mod known as The Mercenary - Pack, but that mod also contains an NCR Vet. Ranger outfit, mask and helmet are included, next to other wearable objects. The NCR outfit actually in two varieties. One is a short jacket version, the second one the more known Longcoat. The Armors are all craftable via the Armorsmith Extended workbenches and can be found ingame as well.

I remember a long time ago the Dust Bowl Overhaul was removed. My heart was broken, but several months later, Desparado was released. I never got to do a proper desert playthrough, but this video has put it near the top of my priority list. Right below breathing, right above eating.

Bundle idea: Mad Max theme. It's post apocalyptic but with a more leather bound S&M flare with vehicles vehicles vehicles. Vehicle homes, defense's and even a tire or two on ur outfit as armor.

Desperados is a must have for me on console, it might take up almost a whole GB of space but it just makes the game run so much smoother in my experience on my Xbox one S, not to mention the fact it seems to help stop my constant crashes in Boston for some reason

@@anarchy2118 my best advice is to go offline and use some mods to lower the Enemy amount, and lower the building textures, I’ve noticed I crash more often when I’m connected to Xbox live I think the creation club does something that doesn’t shake with the game. Hope it helps my people

@@anarchy2118 the Boston thing is because it loads too many things at once so you will need varied performance mods to fix it like Boston less enemies, disable Godrays, etc… It happened after one of the creation club updates and bethesda refuses to fix it

Fallout 4's revolver instinctively felt odd to me and I didn't know why for quite a while, that was until I realised it was because you hold it with 2 hands. Professional or not, it just doesn't feel right to use a revolver with 2 hands, especially post RDR2.

My one problem with the cowboy repeater mod is that it doesn’t the the color form new vegas like a light silver or the brass frame you can put on or the repeater sights from new vegas.

I really do miss Dustbowl. Desperados is amazing, but the GB cost is very hefty on console and prevents me from using a lot of the mods I would like to add to this load order

To add to this list, you can also turn the Minutemen into the NCR with the NCR Overhaul mod. Along with the mods that are recommended by the author, you have your minutemen wearing standard trooper and ranger armor, armed with the Service rifle. Although, Preston will still say that they're the Minutemen so yeah.

Don’t tell me the author of the Single Action deleted it because of these new Nexus guidelines. Because that and the Anti Material Rifle are gone. I really hope the author is just refining them. Because his N99 mod is still up

I also liked adding the Western collection project. The outfits are a bit janky but overall pretty nice! Also the c96 mauser just because it was in rdr2.
