Yeah, seeing Lin lose her bending is rough to watch with how high the stakes are this episode already. I believe you'll enjoy her arc in this series, plenty of soul searching there. I also love all the adult characters reactions or facial expressions whenever the Mako and Asami drama happens, that look on Pema's face when she walked out, just get used to that. You're going to be like "come on, Mako" a few times

I wondered that question - is that a woman or a man ... I thought it was a woman, but no, it's a man.

It is heartbreaking enough to see Lin losing her bending, but aside the fact itself, there's also the WAY it was portrayed, like an execution. Sure no bullet went through Lin's skull but the fact she bas tied, on her knees and taking the "final shot" from behind remind me of very dark real life happenings during war and dictatorship. I think it was totally intentional to showthe viewers, in all its cruelty, that Lin is, in fact, "over" as a powerful character.

The ending is a lot to take in--it was a one-two punch, Lin losing her bending and then Gen. Iroh II turning up!

There is only 2 episodes left not a lot of episodes left of season 1 of Korra

The first time I watched this I had to binge. It was so intense and upsetting, could not put it down at this point. The loss is deeply felt. Such a good show.
