Those bags are solid, I've had a set for near 2 years now and use them a LOT. Crash with them, get them wet/muddy and they just hold up. Went through 2 sets of Nelson Riggs saddle bags in like 2 months.

Oh and trim the velco on the cross seat supports that isn't 'stuck'. Any extra velco starts rubbing on things while riding and wearing it, not a big deal but noticed some fabric frayed where I left velco a bit too long.

On my Tusk bags I wore through the straps going forward with my boots in one ride. I ended up drilling some holes through the side panels and am using a combination of zip ties and bolts holding the front in place now. I would also recommend moving them back otherwise your legs will hit them if you ride on the balls of your feet.

Thanks. Just did 180 miles of gnarly single track and no issues the way they were set up. I do have a plan to protect the straps though

September babies! I have absolutely hammered my Tusk Excursion bags for the past two years. Have held up great so far so good. The small dry bag is great too. Much better to keep the weight off my back and on the bike.

Those look like a great option. I use the GL version for a number of years. I mostly use them for track preparation for our hare scrambles. Also on trail maintenance days. Two thumbs up!🤟👊✊💨💨💨

I like that system and it works great. Been using a set of Daytripper from Wolfman, pretty similar, on my long-range enduro weapon (2011 YZ450f, 150 to 200km fuel range). It's a must for me to keep tools, spares, some emergency food and especially my first aid kit.

I was going to get the Mosko 10L bags but glad I went for the WLF vest instead. I can fit everything I need for a full day of riding in the vest and there’s nothing restricting my mobility on the bike.

It’s hard to have an unbiased review when an affiliated company sends you free gear to review. That said they still look like they can hold what I need for trail prep and arrowing our clubs events. RM is out of stock though.

I hear ya on the unbiased thing. But I can say that RM has given me express instructions to be honest no matter what. They would rather have me dislike some things so that all of you continue to trust me. That way when I really do like something, you might consider purchasing it. For instance, these bags are awesome but I have a fix coming for where they attach to the frame near your feet. A fix I came up with because their design isn’t great right there.

@@highlandcycles Perfect! Thats a great approach to things. I ended up ordering them from eBay this morning. If they come in in time I’ll try them out this Friday. Our last event of the year is a Toys For Tots toy drive dual sport this weekend. What was your fix for these if I may ask ?

@@highlandcyclesso I got them today (just in time for trial work tomorrow 👍). However the tail light piece that’s bolted and recessed into the bottom of the fender of my Beta makes those clips totally useless for me. It’s too fat for them to grab into anything so they just slide around. I loosed the tail light section so I could create a gap between it and the fender and that worked however they sit at a weird position making tail strap not sit flush on top of the fender. They stick up like a sore thumb. However they’re tight so there’s that! I think it’ll work for the weekend but will have to come up with another solution at some point. Even if I use something else entirely and just rap around the tail itself. Bags a nice though. Folding saw, course tape and snacks with room to spare.

Those look very useful but not the pic in the instructions. All of Tusk pics in there instructions suck. Now that you're a RMATV person maybe you could bring that to their attention. I had to wear 2 pairs of glasses to make it out. Ride safe my 2 wheel friends.
