Tipp: You don't need the step for saving the patches individually, that is what save as bundle is for. At least the SK pro will create a new patch for every changed patch for you. Bundles can be linked to the favorite buttons just like you described :) cheers

Excellent explanation of a subject that seems to be bothering many people (me included). Thank you very much for making the effort to de-mystify this issue.

Thank you so much Jim, I recently purchased the SKX Pro and the owners manual is pretty overwhelming. I started watching your videos for the pro and the regular SK and wow has it helped! You are not only a great teacher, but a great player and it sure is appreciate it! This is the first time I’ve ever subscribed!

You saved me from a sk pro breakdown yesterday! Thank you. On to the next battle. Nothing is intuitive about this beast! but I love it!

Yeah, it's overly complicated for no good reason. The simple solution would be to allow people to save individual patches as FAVORITES.

Thanks, Jim. Just got the organ last week and this is the only feature that I was still unsure on. Very timely for me.

Jim I listen to all you play/record/ upload/ and having been around Hammonds for over 60 years. I have loved the instrument more than any other. You are generous beyond belief. I have always wondered how you use the settings keys. Didn’t Jimmy pretty much use one setting? Almost all stops out. It seems as though this aspect of its operation is contemporary with the time of its maturity B3 60-70’s at Hammond. Keep playing everyday as you get better and better and we love your immense contribution to Jazz and RU-vid.

Hi Jim, Thanks for all the helpful tutorial videos and the Root Doctor (Green Onions - wow!) & Organissimo music! I recently purchased the SkxPro (also have the older Sk-173) and I am struggling a bit with the splits, especially when adjusting the octaves for each split. For example on lower manual, Clav, Rhodes, and flute set at specific note ranges. Identifying/ selecting the notes seems to be reasonably straightforward but is not working as expected for me - most likely user error. An in depth or down and dirty tutorial on this would be a great help. Cheers and hope you will consider it. Also any helpful comments from your other subscribers is appreciated!

Hi again Jim, Your videos have been a Godsend over the years of Hammond explorations! Having bought the SKX Pro I'm hopeful of finally having a 1 keyboard solution in my "golden" years. I have a setup load question you may know ? If there is a setup file with adjusted patches for organ, tone wheel, leslie settings, etc is it possible to just extract or load those patches from a setup file to an existing set up -vs loading the whole setup in it's entirety & not overwriting everything else ? My thought was to then replace the patches in the still existing combinations I've made the past 6 months. Thanks !!

Hi Jim, can you make a video, where you are just playing the organ. On RU-vid, you find nearly nothing in that direction. You find mainly talking and playing some riffs.

So, nothing like Kontakt Snapshots - i.e. a button that can save a current state of gthe organ to a user preset. Perhaps in future firmware? Stunning organ.

Why not making a librarian software, like Nord, Korg, Roland does?
