superb tutorials! I just bought my first modular setup in the Doepfer A100 Basic system so looking forward to using it with my Elektron gear. Should be tons of fun to modulate and control/sequence/sample the Eurorack gear with it.
Nice series of videos, one of the reasons I still have my A4 is because I interact with my modular with it. Not to mention I happen to like elektron sequencing, dark trinity you get used to it. :)
Thanks a lot !!! I didn't actually know that I had such a powerful CV sequencer in my gear. Quick question, does the signal clip when plugging straight into A4 inputs, or do I have to tame it in anyway?
Hi, these videos are awesome, so informative. I am just getting into Modular and had a quick question: when striking the Optomix with a trigger, why do you first go through the Function and use the EOR output to strike; rather than running the A4 trigger directly into the Optomix? Does this just give you a bit of "freedom" from the triggers coming from the 44, so you can delay the envelope according to your taste? Thanks!!
Aaron Brown the main reason I think I was doing it this way (it was a long time back now) is because it means I can also use the output of the envelope too. Of course you could just mult the trigger as you say though.
My bad that is what I meant :) ..If you have a minute could you please explain how to do that? I just got a Serge panel and I have been trying to figure it out.
just.another. wizard. Run the aduio out from your serge into the analog four audio in. Go to the FX track hit ext in (grey text) turn up the level of the audio in and then apply effects as desired.
