There is no one with the name David Davidson ( time in the Video 1:11:4) who studies African history or military history. There is an archaeologist with the name called David Phillipson. His research and expertise focuses only settlement and state formation early historic times of Aksumite and preaksumite periods 8th Century B.C. to 10 Century A.D. He can not be cited as some one who studied Military History. If you are referring him it is not correct and you may need to justify it.
