TP hands down had the best monster design of the series. If only its battles complimented this better. Oh well, nice list!

Death Sword is my personal favourite mini boss in the Zelda series. His look is awesome, his sword is awesome, the atmosphere is awesome, fighting him both as Link and Wolf Link is awesome, his death scene is awesome, his backstory is awesome and he even has it's own theme! So yeah, if you ask me, I would say that he is... well... AWESOME!

Thank You!!! I absolutely love Death Sword, and it saddens me that most mini-boss rankings don't even mention him in their lists. But then you came and did this, and I just wants to say, thanks!!

I swear, the battle music in this game is EPIC as Hell and the enemy design is propably the best in the entire series. Thats one of the reasons why i love TP. Now, although my favourite mini boss in the game is Darknut(ye, the obvious one), Death Sword comes second and the reasons are 2.. you already explained the one(badass look) and the second is the story behind it. The strings you mentioned around the sword, are holding inscriptions which all of them are needed for the sealing of the Death Sword. When Link cutted one of the strings he destroyed the sealing and that had as a result the revival of the Death Sword. Its been said that he is an ancient demon responsible for the absence of the Gerudos once and... he killed them all... Great list Owners

The giant insect was TERRIFYING the first time I played the game, and it actually took me quite a few tries. For some reason that was just a hard fight for me. I think I was missing something obvious but at this point I can't remember what, lol.

I totally agree on #1. The moment I saw that sword the 1st time, "I am so going to love this fight"

Amazing list! Captivated me for the entire 19 minutes, which (with my attention span) is a very impressive feat. You guys also made me realize how important King Bulblin was to the game and his overall uniqueness. I know this is an old video but still, keep up the amazing work!

Fun fact: The sound the Death Sword makes when it is picked up is similar to the sound you hear when entering the Arbiter's Grounds

This was put together really well :D Lord, I hate fighting Skull Kid here! It's good, I just forget where he is sometimes and the end is so manic. And I thought, "Wow, what could top King Bulbin??" Then I saw it, and yup, totally agree :D Death Sword is so awesome you have to chase him after the mid point and go again :D Aweome job :)

When I first watched this channel I just kinda expected it to have like 200k subs or so and I was blown away when I saw it only has 11k. Such an underrated channel.

Side note, I like looking at the #5 #2 spots ect. When it shows a zoomed in picture of a boss or miniboss. It's like a fun little game of trying to figure out who it is

So incredible mini - bosses. So awesome. I can´t chose a favourite one. And here´s a tip for darkhammer. Use the clawshot while his swinging the ball and go right over his head. But do that right or a bit after he starts swinging the ball again. He won´t hit you (almost never) and when he throws it, just go down and hit him.

These guys are awesome overall. Again, the game's difficulty is not very high, multiplying enemies damage by 2 makes wonders, and makes a lot of these guys much more fun to play with, and the hidden skils become incredibly useful. Ook was really fun for a first mini-boss, theme included. Even his appearence in the boss fight to help you is a nice touch. I think Dangoro's mini boss fight is more fun and even a little more challenging than Fyrus. The battlefield compliments the battle too. You're right about the Bowser thing, though, it's a very curious wink to Mario. Something i've always found funny is how Link can just, grab and trhow gorons like NOTHING. He doesn't have the power bracalet or gauntlet (There is none in the game!) and I don't think the boots give you strength... Darknut is a great addition. Unless you're fighting 2 or 3 at the same time with triple damage cheat. That was brutal. Darkhammers' fight place is terrible. Maybe he's just very smart and thought "HA, players will suffer if put the boss fight here!". Thankfully you get his weapon and is very fun to use! King Bulblin is a nice recurring enemy. Each time you fight him he's more and more pissed off and beaten up in his design. And the scene in 15:40 always makes me smile. I think the "threads" of the sword are actually ropes with seals in them to prevent the sword (or the spirit within it) to reach out. Very cool concept. Nice video!

I have a funny story for when I faced Death Sword. I figured I needed arrows (I was actually using bomb arrows lol) when I ran out. In hindsight I probably could've use my clawshot or something, but I didn't know what to do. I paused and talked to my brothers if they had an idea, and looked up how to beat Death Sword on google, but still nothing about if you ran out of arrows. And then, while talking to one of my brothers, I got an idea. Since I was playing TP HD, I actually remembered about my Toon Link amiibo and how it refills your arrows. That moment probably made Death Sword my favourite. It felt like solving a really hard Zelda puzzle! Death Sword is cool.

To make king Bulbin s 4th encounter a bit different, use the wolf form

How to slaughter every boss and mid boss during and after arbiters grounds... Get good at the mortal draw and spam it

My favorite mini boss was the Darknut, but just because Twilight Princess had such a focus on swordsmanship, but rarely gave you any worthy opponents to use them on. Every encounter with them was awesome, but a bit unnerving, because you know you're against a very skilled opponent.

This is in order of when you fight them, rather than how much I enjoyed them. Kim K: Fun and fast paced, but a bit annoying. Beefy Groose Goron: Fun and sorta challenging, with a nice arena. A Guy on a Bird: He's a guy on a bird. Creative. Infinigut Mosquito: Fun and epic. Your Princess is in Another Slime Pit: Gross and stressful. What Did They Do To Your Face: Just what I expected from a fight with the mischievous little brat. Goatly Ghoul: Nice atmosphere, but REALLY easy for what you built him up to be. Dino Truck: Pretty easy, despite childhood memories of my dad dying multiple times, but the ball and chain is pretty cool Lightpecan: Holy crap this guy is fun! He is a bit of a challenge, and I get to try out the cool sword attacks I learn and never use (my favorite being the one where you jump over someone's head after using a shieldbump). King Butterblin (1-3): Cool, plot effective, and just the most adorable thing in history. Others: Haven't gotten that far yet.

There's a rumor going around saying that skull kid is from both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, but this time he's a poe... And something I noticed was Skull kid's eyes are shaped like Majora's... Possibly as a representation of Skull kid's sin in life... Plus Saria's song is heard in the background of the lost woods, not just because it's a throwback to Ocarina of Time, but because Skull kid is trying to keep the memory of Saria and the Kokiri alive...

I hated Darkhammer, sooo frustrating.... until I realized I could just use Mortal Draw on him and kill him in one blow. Nasty demands on the timing though. Deathsword, however, I agree completely.. he was my all-time favorite mini-boss... I mean, when you go in and foolishly cut the seals holding the cursed sword in place.. he was just so scary, cool-looking, inovative by you having to use your wolf-form to find him and he was also actually very challenging as you couldn't Z-target him with the bow.

I honestly didn't know the kargorok carrier was a boss the first time I played the game.

ive been playing alot of TP recently and i learned that beating the darkhammer in snowpeak, Darknut in temple of time, and Bulblin the third and 4th time is ALOT harder when you dont know the Parry. still possible but harder

These black papers on the ropes that tie deathsword down refer to japenese amulets that can ward off evil

I heard that for death sword when you are fighting him as a human if you don’t have arrows you can use the claw shot

Actually when you knock of all the armour of a darknut if you try to attack them with ranged they will jump to the side (left or right)

If you think about it, the Darknuts are the only minibosses to become bosses. That is if you count the final floor of the Cave of Ordeals.

I was so terrified by the Twilit Bloat because he was so disgusting and that's why every time he attacked me! I felt so horrible even though I don't get scared quikly

my fav mini boss is the Deku Toad i love how you have to stab his tongue so funny this mini boss always makes me laugh

Here's a tip on beating the #3 mini-boss since I found this dude to be very easy to beat. Stay at one end of the halfway and wait for the boss to come about midway through it, before using your hookshot to get to the opposite end of the hallway. Turn around and hit him several times than. I use this technique a lot and very seldomly get hit. FYI, you're #1 is one of my favs too. I believe I ranked him #3 overall when I did a Mini-boss list of the whole series. FYI, using the hookshot works just as well as the bow and arrow.

Has anyone noticed that Dongoro has a 'hairstyle' similar to that of the goron baby from Majora's mask, or is that just me?

I would love to learn what the Death Sword really was. All we know is that he is a ghostly figure that was sealed away in Arbiters Grounds. And for that matter, what was Stallord?

Something that doesn't make sense to me is that the Goron mines mini boss is hurt by lava, but then, the Goron that you have to use bombs to get him out of the lava rock in North Lanyru tells you he fell asleep covered in lava. Does this bother anyone?

I pretty much agree with your list, except for the last three. King bulbin was kinda annoying for me, especially the part where you fight on the bridge ( i got pushed off so many times it was not funny! X( ) Death Sword and Dark Hammer can take 2nd and 1st either way. I find Death sword similar to Gomess from Majoras mask but less stupid looking from the facial area. (they are both black, can fly, and they represents death.)

12- The Shadow Kargorok is not memorable at all and is really easy. 11- Despite how disgusting and easy the Deku Toad is it gives you a great item in the end. 10- The Twilit Bug is very fun but disgusting again but it's necessary for the tears of light. 9-5 Refer to your Top 10 Mini-Bosses. 4- Darknut is really fun and it looks awesome but too bad there are multiple of these you fight. If it was fought only once then it would be much better. 3-1 Once again refer to the Top 10 Mini-Bosses. Those are my opinions on these mini-bosses. Like this comment please!

TheOwnersOfTriforce Is it just me or does Aeralfos, Dangoro, Darknut, and Darkhammer, have the same boss/miniboss theme? Not saying it's bad, heck I think it sounds really good and really catchy, but why don't ALL of the minibosses in this game have this theme? Sounds like a song that can be downloaded on iTunes. Again, love that music.

So the only you put Skull Kid that high just because he's Skull Kid? that's not a good reason to put him there at all. that's like saying that the Lakebed temple is bad because it's a water dungeon. Though i do agree the puppets look scary at first, but they are just die in one hit which kinda lowers their creepiness factor. I have nothing against skull kid and i love the music he plays when you chase him but overall, he should not be that high on the list. though i respect your opinion?

Darkhammer is the hardest Mini-boss in the game. But so MANY MANY times, King Bulblin was extremely hard for me the first time around 1-on-1 when saving Colin. I ALWAYS had to use a fairy or milk in order to beat him. This last play through (over 90 hrs and still counting), he was finally easy. The rest of the battles after that, he was a breeze.
