RM said he brought the melody, Suga brought the beat, and Hoseok brought the word Ddaeng. It's such a great term to build a concept around but Hobi often has really clever concepts like that. All of the rappers were able to run with it in their own directions and it was a really great example of their teamwork!

As an older african American female BTS fan alot of my peers can't understand why I like BTS. First of all let me say this. I have never conformed to stereotypes when it comes to music. I listen to everything. MIC drop was my introduction to BTS and I had to hear more. After having my soul snatched by thier music, the individual members and their stories stole my heart. Well whenever you react to Agust D's(Suga) first Mixtape, there's a song called Tony Montana Feat. Yankie that Suga and Jimin perform at BTS's 3rd Muster(Fan Meeting/concert in celebration of BTS's debut). It's one of my favorite performances!! You're not moving too quick...you're going at your own pace. I LOVE, LOVE the rap line and what they put out (including solo projects). For me, Outro: Tear (LIVE) always brings me to tears (maybe save it til last). When you get to it, I'm pretty sure the two of you will FEEL and understand why. Guys this was an awesome reaction and I'm off to patreon to watch the rest. The one thing I felt that no one recommended to you that you would have LOVED to watch is the Ddaeng behind the scenes, where they were finishing the studio session and mixing of the song and when they were prepping for the festa performance. You really get to see how much V loves this song (spoiler: he's a big fan of this song and the rapline especially Suga 🤣), because while the rappers are performing, you see Jimin and V going absolutely ham in their practice studio just dancing around them and being general hype men. UGH is the most recent song out of the Cyphers & Outro:Tear list. It's on their Map of the Soul: 7 album released in early 2020. I also recommend watching a breakdown of the lyrics for when you get to this one. This song is SUCH A HYPE SONGGGGGG. When you know the meaning behind it and the message they are trying to send, it just makes the song so much more... UGH! (hehe). Hey guys ! This is an epic song. And yes it’s a shame that westerners belittle BTS. My biggest dream is to watch BTS grace the Super Bowl halftime show. Ddaeng should be included in that performance BUT, the one that fits the best for SB halftime is :"ON" ( Kinetic Manifesto Film video), because of the UCLA marching band. I 💜 you guys...I was there for your first BTS reaction video and have been with you ever since. Like so many others have said, Ddaeng is one of my favorite BTS songs period. I've been learning it (yes, I don't speak Korean), and already have J-Hope's part down, besides the chorus. Let's GOOOOOO Ddaeng!!! I agree with everyone else that recommends "Ugh" and "Tear" too.
