Twins System Recap: Brooks Lee Shines; David Festa Debuting Soon? 

I think it's pretty safe to say Lee has figured out his righty swing .322/.367/.679 good for a 1.045 OPS. It might be a small sample size but man that looks good

A tough one for the Twins to lose. A few tough breaks! It's nice that Joe Ryan pitched well after a rough 1st and 2nd inning. It'd be nice if Ryan would log a few starts in a row without giving up a home run! Ryan has yielded home runs in all of his 5 starts (8 home runs total) in June and with mixed results. I understand he pitches around the plate and can be susceptible to giving up home runs. True, sometimes hitters hit good pitches. But being not leaving too many pitches near the middle of the plate and being a bit stingier in that area would help Ryan's effectiveness and win total rise! Hopefully, Minnesota strikes back to win tonight! GO TWINS!

I think Festa could be a Blake Snell kind of pitcher. Lower IP and somewhat poor control but high K rate and solid at run prevention.

Hearing that Paddock is having some challenges with arm and shoulder fatigue is not surprising. I think we all figured he was going to need some time off at some point. If he can get healthy and contribute in the post season then I’m all for that…if they can make the post season.

Crazy how healthy the Twins bats are and how many guys in AAA and the bigs are playing well to the point you have Lee, Wallner, Julien, and Kiersey JR. all stuck in AAA .. good problem to have I guess but would love to see Lee get the call and Wallner/Julien bounce back at some point

Lee might not be known for being the most toolsy fielder but it always looks like he has great instincts out there. Just looks like a natural in the field.

When does the festa-vil begin?

No excuses for the Twins decisions - Brooks Lee need to play 2B starting ASAP.

Young Buck needs to make that catch. I can understand why he is tentative on plays near the wall.

Man Julien with 27K's in 74 ABs since going to AAA. I was a big believer in him last year. I have lost the faith.

Instead of Chris Paddack being injured can we just take him off the roster

Do you think it could be Dobnak starting a couple game's? Easier to DFA so theres that 40 man flexability. Sounds like Paddack is only gonna be out a couple starts. Do you wanna burn a Festa option and that clock already? I want Festa as much as the next guy but realistically i wanna say Dobnak for a couple starts.

and lets get our best players on the major league roster for god sake we got some absolute studs in the system why are we not trying to win games this team could be really good stop acting like the twins on the late 90s early 2000s and lets try to win my god!

It has been frustrating to watch the Twins lose another game in the late innings after rallying to tie the game. I love their never quit attitude but it would be nice to see them win more of these games

Deadline prediction: Twins sell for prospects so they can upgrade their team internally. Severino, Lee, Julien, Camargo, Festa, Twins go brrrrrrrr.

Correa for having a good year sure picks the worst games to provide nothing at the plate . Also i don't understand henriquez getting the call why wouldn't you call up Festa or any other starter on the 40 man only issue is he's not on the roster already twins refuse to dfa any of the mid vets they employ currently

i love how your trying to come up with every reason not call up brooks lee you have to be kidding me you said what they should do....brooks lee comes up to play 2nd base and you move castro to left field and lets go! its time to try to win man this team has potential and maybe they try to swing a trade and bring in a arm or two to solidify this rotation or bullpen like im really having some painful flashbacks to the old twins strategy what the hell are they doing lets get the best players up on the big league roster and try to win this division and quit babying guys lets let the starters pitch into the 7th inning lets get the Festa kid up here and see what he can do and take the training wheels off and let the kid throw 100 pitches and lets win this damn division these guys are a pitcher and or another clutch hitter away from being a real threat!!! take the training wheels off and lets go!

So twins really gonna leave our guy brooks Lee in AAA while half the lineup no-shows every night lol

Well, with the Indians running away with the division again, I don't see this team doing squat this season. Maybe next year. Maybe.
