You learn something new every day. I learned from the older upload that Axel is one of the most broken vehicles in TM2 purely because he has two specials, one of them being the infinite Hammerhead-like special. I mean, it makes a lot of sense with those huge ass tires, but they could have at least compensated by making his armor almost on par with Mr. Grimm's since his whole body is exposed and all.
Not shocking, really. Ram damage is based on HP. Having very low HP against an Axel will wreck you, even with Axel, if the opponent is in pristine condition, while yours is in shambles.
What's funny is many in comments never played this, I lived it MANY years ago. Soundtrack was always amazing, early mid late 90's racing music. Was freeze, left, right, left right Up, or left, left, right right up. I forget. Also, JUST CONSTANTLY HOLD THAT FLIPPIN MACHINE GUN DOWN.
Something funny I've also noticed is about AI Thumper. AI Thumper almost always seems to have a Napalm ready for you whenever you're out of range, either shot from in front or behind him. When Thumper's not trying to roast you alive with his special, he often seems keen to at least get you with a Napalm.
Axel was SOOO good in TM1 and 2. Thumper was great as well, Spectre was great in TM1 but not 2.. Thumber in 1 had fire and TM 2 had fire, but, in 3 had a shockwave thing. was my favorite next to Auger.
I will always love this game! I remember doing the God Mode and just spamming ricochet bombs through Hong Kong and just sitting back and letting them go crazy lol Love this game. Axel will always be the best!

I think the quality on TM 3, 4, Small Brawl, and Head-On looks decent. As for Black well yeah you should redo it since the game was too dark to see what's going on. I mostly watched your playthrough during the night because it was too difficult to watch during daytime.

I've always maintained that New York should've been the last level of the game. It makes more sense: You start in Los Angeles where the first tournament took place. Then you leave to travel the world and fight. Then you finally return to the U.S.A. in New York City, this time on the opposite coast, where Calypso is situated as all drivers ask for their wish. It's an epic stage for a boss fight too. I'm not sure why they didn't do it this way.
What I hate the most is Axel in this and Black, he always and I mean ALWAYS blasts you with his special every time he’s near you, as though it’s his only weapon.
Ah, yes. Axel: the character that made Hammerhead worthless(I was gonna add Grasshopper but she was worthless already). Whoever decided to give Axel Minion's super ram AND make it stronger than both of the ramming specials should've been fired. (Idk if it's stronger per hit but goddamn)

How can he survive all of them bullets, missiles, the scorching hot lava in Amazonia and the bitter cold Antarctica? TomboyGamerGal After you beat a level, the game makes you invulnerable until the loading screen pops up, for example, if you defeat all enemies on New York and drive of the buildings , you won't die.
@@TheTWISTEDCREECH96 Yeah, this right here is why I think he survived that impact with Minion. If there for some reason was another enemy alive on the level, he and Minion probably would have double-KO'ed.
@@LuisParson But its my favourite game of the series. Its super hard to beat and when drivers die they scream properly. Women as women and men as men. In the other series like TM3 and TM4 Flower Power, Hammerhead and Meter Maid's screams are weird
7:50 Too bad when they take half of his health bar he always run seeking to recharge. He was gonna destroy them all in that corner as Grasshopper and Hammerhead aren't that dangerous. Luis is a great player though.

Woulda been cooler without the shield abuse :( I remember smashing this game as a kid but I have never seen that level of abuse of a broken ability. I also won several times without Axel. We should be thankful the shield was created in order to counter the freeze which was made more dangerous in Twisted Metal 2 since you can't break it anymore with a turbo. You're a good example on why I dislike the Twisted Metal 2 fanbase. I often hear them calling strategies and tricks in this game unfair or cheap to the AI as if I'm not allowed to murder them with whatever I have in my arsenal. This fanbase is a joke to me now.
