Apparently her brother was stuck in space for a year and didn't die. Moscow 4:55 Paris 11:05 Amazonia 18:21 New York 25:00 Antarctica 29:31 Holland 35:11 Hong Kong 41:30 Dark Tooth 50:05
When I did my run with Outlaw, the game had me spawn right in front of Dark Tooth in one of the dead-end corners after beating the Hong Kong level. It scared the crap out of me lol
The level itself is torture. Health pickups were extremely scarce and you have almost no space to run away from the enemies and avoid their attacks to wait for it to respawn. You had to time and angle your attacks to avoid getting hit. It was such an early game difficulty spike through its design that told you what you had to do to master the game.
Well played. Nice strategy with minion and the mines lol. Made short work of him. Buddy and I use to see how quick we could do a speed run with god mode. Swear I beat Moscow in under 15 seconds once lol
Oh Outlaw 2. I used always to be her everytime I played this game, Outlaw 2 and Twister were my favorites. Thumper were fun to play too. One of my older brother used to be Shadow and Spectre when we played co-op.
those were my favs too ! those 3 they def felt right as a goto ~ thumper was fun once in a while with that single hit killing .. that fiery sword and stabbing vehicles to death outlaw was def protagonist material
I swear. Thumper. If he's not trying to get you with his powerful special, he's trying to get you with a Napalm, as seen in Antarctica. Also, I swore those Ricos sent him to his death the first time around. Also, while others can seem spammy with their specials at times, Shadow seemingly pulls a Sweet Tooth at times in just one otherworldly roar after another. I think I heard three in quick succession at one point in the same map, followed by at least two more moments later.
I'd imagine because it's rather limited in most cases. I'm counting three, maybe four levels only, two of them with rather small areas that don't necessarily get the most traffic. Moscow's probably the only decent level for the Lightning power up. Los Angeles is far too big and wide open. You'd have to camp around the station to try and nail someone more than likely. Hong Kong's area is tucked into a corner of the map. I feel making sure to keep room in the weapon bay for the universal weapons takes priority for them. Homing Missiles are pretty good all around and remote bombs do a crap ton of damage on slopes or if your enemy is airborne from what I've seen. Freeze, shield up, plant remote bomb, detonate, rinse and repeat if necessary. Seems pretty effective on most enemies and even the bosses to some degree. Ricochets seem to be a favorite of theirs on New York and Antarctica, for obvious reasons.
When I was a teen playing TM 2, outlaw was always my go to car. It has fairly balanced speed and power. I kinda liked her special but the downside when using this, it takes time to recharge.
i remember playing this game on pc over 30 years ago and only using the Ferrari. Thank you for taking me down memory lane. Thank you for the nostalgia. I also remember Interstate 82. Ever play that game?
Better armor than half of the other lightweights and faster than Grasshopper and Roadkill. Yep, she's easily one of my favorites too besides Thumper and Axel. My brother was into Spectre more.
I like how you set them up with the tazer. I would shield up and drive to them while shooting at them, tazer drive by and then rear shoot them while leaving.
37:48 This is probably the longest I've seen both of the wind mills stand in your playthroughs. Usually, one of them is already down within 30 seconds to a minute.
Damn, LuisParson! How long did that take you to defeat Minion? 20 seconds? Man, I can’t believe you were able to do that. Because I couldn’t. But I have to admit, that was awesome.
It's moments like these 25:52 I wonder if the AI's got some smarts to them some times. Grasshopper missed both freeze attacks so what did they do? Certainly not drive over to the player and get Ricochet'd off of the building. In another video, Shadow nearly died to a Ricochet earlier on so they seemingly were avoiding putting themselves between the player here and a building's edge, for t he most part. I think Luis did get them that way in the end, but they were avoiding that like the plague, even trying to hit him with a ricochet or two of their own, I think.
Man, for a police👮♀️woman, Officer Jamie Roberts sure is pretty hot. Although, I’m not too crazy about her voice. But, I guess it’s just my opinion. Also, good job👍on completing the game with Outlaw 2, LuisParson. You smoked them, but good!
That was a close call there in Moscow. Once again, you seriously made Minion your bitch in Amazonia. At least the ending cutscenes wasn't so bad. Jamie is reunited with her brother. Do you think Outlaw are the ones who *actually* won the Twisted Metal contest? But there's Twister and Grasshopper... and they're cannon to Head-On...
+EdwardJW Guess I overlooked that guy when I watched TM Head-On ending scenes. Too bad Luis didn't show the endings in his older videos. Shame on him, hmph...
No, not really. They're pretty much programmed to pursue the player only and fire within certain proximities which gives the illusion that they fight each other. Hell even the damage they do to each other is chopped in half at least.
Outlaw's special does damage to multiple opponents, and has that disruption when it first make contact. I prefer Roadkill, but they're pretty much always both the "jack of all trades" vehicle in every game.
Twisted Metal III Outlaw's tazer is much more effective if you rear-fire it. Well, on my opinion. I also spam the tazer when an enemy goes through the portal and they jump up.
