l was there all the way from Hamilton, Ontario! So many great bands played that year... Motorhead, Slayer, Ozzy, Cannibal Corpse, Pennywise, Amon Amarth...Gotta say though, Dee fuckin ROCKED THE HOUSE! The Sisters played for at least an hour and by the end, nobody was on their ass, everybody was up and shooting the horns and singing... Of all the bands l saw that weekend Dee surprised me the most.. wicked ass show..
I was there too! I remember being extremely impressed with Dee's awesome showmanship. That guy is a living legend that deserves WAY more credit than he currently gets. And I didn't even like TT until I saw that show. EVERYBODY was there, and all were dancing and singing. Dee's persona on stage is way up there with Freddie Mercury imho.
+Jim Bovens Right?? l always thought they were okay but l was never really a huge fan til l saw this show :) Motorhead came on just before TS (if l'm not mistaken, there was a lot of beer lol) and l had no idea these guys had such a rich history with each other.. l watched a Twisted Sister documentary on Netflix and l guess Lemmy really promoted them during their first European tour... l had no clue at the time, like l said, l wasn't a big fan but l feel pretty honoured now that l saw both Motorhead and Twisted Sister at the same show :)
Jim Bovens Would love to go... l went to 2012 with my ex husband, he lives in Holland. They get all the best shows! Saw Hank lll at a bar in Eindhoven... cool as hell :) I live in Canada but l did just get lron Maiden tickets for the Toronto show in July :)

It’s funny, my favorite music is old country music (Johnny Cash being my all-time favorite singer) but I have a lot of love for the Sisters, along with some great 80’s hair bands. Seeing your comment about Hank III was awesome. I was a fan of his dad and granddaddy first. I heard him say something pretty cool, that a lot of old people show up at his shows to hear him do Hank sr. songs, and you’d think they’d get bored in his heavier stuff, but he sees some them enjoying it, haha. Thought that was cool! Anyway, sorry, done rambling. Assuming you’re still there (if not, sorry lol) I hope life is treating you well in Ontario! Thanks again for sharing, and take care! :)

That was the day my hatred for this song begun. Everybody was singing this all weekend. At the camp site, festival, the road in between. I couldn't stand it any more. Not even to this day.
