There.. there are no words to describe this.... This battle was beyond epic. Like holy f*** Thank you to everyone on Twitch and Reddit, I love you all!
@@ShadowtheDreamEater im pretty sure the SNAKEEEEEEEEEEEEE thing is a reference to metal gear solid, so 999 probably made a reference to metal gear solid(also yes im replying to a comment you made 3 years ago but i guess this can answer other people's questions if they check this reply thread or if you still didn't know)
That ending. Classic Bird Jesus, wouldn't you think? Taking hits and dodging attacks, and then coming to within one attack to handing AJ an extremely crushing loss. With an attack that means "God Bird" in Japanese, no less. So fitting and yet simply epic.
that last match between Gator and Bird Jesus was EPIC. The way Bird Jesus charged for the sky attack and endured that cut, I honestly thought that might have been it for Gator after that sky attack, but he said. "fuck that shit CAN YOU SMELL WHAT THE CROC IS COOKING?"
i wish you could tell your pokemon to dodge more often.....i wish pokemon can attack the terrain for smart combos......but ofc thats too complex.......the big reason why i quit pokemon games. i thought the pokemon fights in the anime were cool, then when i was old enough i realized that doesnt happen in the game. the game has rules, its less flexible. goodbye pokemon
Ok, I have to admit. Even if it was nothing more then hundreds of players spamming buttons, lots of bag checking, and wrong move selections. *That was the most intense Pokemon battle I've ever seen* Everything could of gone against them, but it didn't. To see them win with a tiny bit of health was incredible. And the chat just made the moment more amazing.
...And with that, the tyrannical reign of the Anarchy God Lord Helix, his vessel, and his loyalist followers has come to a close. With only Lazorgator, the unwanted hero, standing tall in the end. Really no better way for this to end.
...damn. Dat final battle between Lazorgator and Bird Jesus is...damn. Lazorgator: Feel the cold bitterness of my heart! Bird Jesus: *endures Icy Wind* Do you really think you could stop me after what you did to our Lord?! *begins glowing* Lazorgator: *unsheath the sword he inherited from Admiral* This shall be the end! *Bird Jesus endured Cut* Lazorgator: What?! Bird Jesus: Feel the wrath of the Heavens!!! *direct hit from Sky Attack. Admiral's sword was badly damaged. Lazorgator fell on his knees* Lazorgator: *coughing up blood*...not yet! *Stands up* RAAAARRRRGGGHHH!!! Bird Jesus: Resistance is futile! *starts glowing again, the force broke Admiral's sword* Lazorgator: *stands his ground. Water starts to surge around his claws*...for Prince Omelette. Bird Jesus: Come. *both charges towards each other to deliver the final blow* Bird Jesus: PRAISE THE HELIX!!! Lazorgator: NO GODS, NO KINGS, ONLY 'MONS!!!
Begin with Lazorgator, finish with Lazorgator. Going on an adventure to beat Red, the Pokemon Champion? Succeed with Lazorgatorade. But, uh, yeah. No gods. No kings. ONLY 'MON!
Oh my God, the ending was amazing. Bird Jesus glowed after receiving a critical striking blow of Icy Wind from Lazor Gator, followed by Lazor Gator making his best attempt at a cut, growing tired from battling for so long. Bird Jesus took advantage of his blunder by unleashing the wrath of the bird Gods, Sky Attack, hoping to doom the Gator in a fiery streak of damnation from the heavens. Surviving the blow, but nearly out of willpower after fighting so many foes, Lazor Gator took another swipe at Bird Jesus but missed, giving Bird Jesus a chance to finish this once and for all. He began to glow once more, weak but still fighting, preparing the strike that would end the match and send the Gator to his doom. Lazor Gator knew what he had to do, and put all of his strength into one final Surf, enhanced by the screaming cries of suspense from thousands of cheering onlookers. Bird Jesus knew it was over, and allowed himself to be swept up in the torrential downpour, ashamed of the defeat but grateful to allow the dreams of thousands of his followers to come true: Beating the game.
Crystal got through two regions faster than Red got through one, and defeated Red's six Pokémon with only five, one of whom was knocked out by the time they fought. Also, Twitch is going to have a Hoenn remake before GameFreak.
I think it was because Pokémon Crystal was generally a much more responsive game - plus the default option on items that can't be used in battle is cancel which helps ;)
Terakahn But the Goldeen was of the highest quality Goldeen you couldn't just catch something so rare and valuable in some plebeian Poke'ball..... not that we had any to begin with.
That was amazing. Simply the greatest Pokemon match my eyes have ever witnessed. The threat given by the creator to cancel all TPP streams made this Duel all the more Epic. It's a shame I couldn't be there to witness this spectacle live, when it wasn't a guaranteed win. Here's to future TPP games having epic moments like this.
AwesomenessItself87 Pretty much exact same situation here. I got up and saw the live updater saying 20 minutes ago, Red was beaten. I was up for the original elite 4 battle at like 4 AM, so at least there's that.
I was playing Plants VS. Zombies: Garden Warfare as this happened. Ah well, I wasn't there for the Champion Blue battle in the Red playthrough either. Can't wait to see what chaos is created in Emerald! =P
AwesomenessItself87 Same thing here. Woke up to realize I missed it by about half an hour to an hour-ish. I really wanted to watch it live. I stayed up quite a bit last night in hopes it might happen.
So damn clutch. Katie hitting those Outrages through the confusion and LazorGator avoiding poison AND stun spore from ATV. And of course that ending good lord. Epic urn
I knew how this was going to end, yet I spent the entire video with my heart racing on the edge of my seat. Twitch sure can make these battles intense.
That ending was freaking fantastic. I had to keep myself from applauding when Bird Jesus evaded that Cut somehow. Didn't want to wake up my non-believing grandparents.
All performed under anarchy. If only Burrito were a bit more fabulous, then it would be perfect, but Katie's clutch slam dunk over Jordan was enough to make up for Burrito's failed homolust
Seeing this for the first time was one of the most amazing thing I've seen in any livestream, shit was so cash. Kinda miss the experience of being a part of such a huge group effort.
If you were there you would understand how close we were to dying would have been catastrophic since we got to the last pokemon, once I saw Bird Jesus fall I literally jumped out of my seat and shouted ''Fuck yeah!'' #NoGodsNoKingsOnlyMon
"Distant tales of boys possessed by voices were passed down after their climactic battle. It was said the voices were gone...... But now it's happening again."
From 16:11 I can hear "DON'T LOSE YOUR WAYYY IN YOUR MIND WE HAVE TO BE AS ONE DON'T BE AFRAID MY SWEETHEART THIS IS THE WAY TO BE MORE STRONG HARBOUR MY DEEP SECRET IT MAKES ME SO BLUE RUN THROUGH THIS GAME BEFORE MY BODY IS DRYYYY"
MAN! I WISH I COULDA BEEN THERE! I love you icymate, thanks A BUNCH for including the chat! Anyone know how many views the stream got during this battle?
this gonna be a breakthrough in gaming history, proud to hv taken part all the way through :) p.s. it would hv made its climax if katie had its pay back time on dragon slayer :P
Ahhh I can’t even imagine how hype this was in the final moments. Right when it ended someone said “I LOVE YOU GUYS” LOL aweee such a good story. Can’t imagine being stuck on a a level for 13 hours tho hahhaa
