These people don't believe cis women *or men* are human. They don't consider you human unless you identify as a a gender different from your biological sex.

It's hard getting a ton of hate for no reason when the main people drain to being streamers are people seeking validation, regardless of how quietly they try to do it. It's not objectively bad but when you try to seek it by harassing people for no reason, then no shit the harassed is going to be hurt and confused because in their mind you don't have to be toxic to get that validation, making it basically an impossibility in their minds. Which ends up hurting even more.

two reasons I guess 1. unlike Pikamee, Silver is still around (if Pikamee would have graduated anyway, is another story) and didn't cave in the demands from the twitterfreaks 2. afaik, Silvervale is basically a lgtbq-supporter too, and no idea when she said that, she also appearently once said, that transwomen are women too so in their eyes, she is a traitor for playing Hogwarts Legacy, like Caitlyn Jenner, who is against transwomen in women sports, and even started to fight against (early) lgbtq-teachings in schools (and even tough everyone is on Silver's side here, knowing that, she kinda "deserved" the backlash then, at least for me)

I mean a lot of them likely forgot that Silver existed. It probably wasn't till she ended up trending, because of leaving Vshojo, that they started right back where they left off.

they dont hold the anger for that long, it's merely the response to a different long standing emotion, anxiety, which is a sort of constant fear over many small things. Their whole morality is built off group approval, and to get ahead in the group you have to be the most acceptable by the standards of the group which leads to people acting as charactures of themselves from less than a decade ago. This of course leads to people being unable to think without hyperbole. The only thing that seems to cure this is real life or death scenarios occurring to them, followed by physical labor with a purpose behind it and time to introspect. No matter what you say to them, without coming back to reality first, they will never listen. Worse, they choose to not comprehend.

It's known in the field of social psychology that when moderate people work in groups to form an opinion with a smaller number of people with an extreme view, the group will always slide more to the extreme view. The longer the group exists the more polarized the view becomes. It makes sense then that people who are online all day (on and off but always checking their phone from dawn to dusk) are in a perpetual group that has no end. Therefore constantly moving every idea they have to be more extreme. So I'd argue that just removing oneself from the group dynamic of online culture and reintegration into society as an individual would be the most important component to fixing these issues.

Of the societies are run by different emotions, Fear, Shame and Guilt are the most dominant driving emotions, there are more, but they supplement the big 3. Most people have a bit of all of them, but these people are overwhelmingly shame and anxiety. Guilt mostly relies on some belief in a higher power that cant be deceived, the apologies they want are to shame and claim victory over a thing apologies to them are less than pointless. and the minor emotion disgust would have kept them from getting too far down this road. really the only ways to fix society at this point is a mass religious revival, or keeping minors off social media and conditioning them to know how much presented on it is false.

It brings back memories of the Saruei art contest situation that happened awhile back. People trying to legit end her career for what basically amounted to "being rude or a bit dismissive to a couple of contestants", but you would have thought she killed someone by the way people were reacting. But during that time, the stuff between Bunny and LaynaLazar came out of nowhere and I think people realized what actual drama looks like and dropped the Saruei stuff, allowing her to get back to normal after apologizing the artist from her contest.

Not 100% true Vshojo's policies are different than most other companies and normally allow talent to keep their model and stuff when they leave Another example for non vshoujo was a creator named yuri that owned her own indy model but when joining and leaving phase connect her account will be deleted because she signed away her rights to her model when joining and was either unable or unwilling to buy her model rights back.

ive been talking about this for awhile, but theres plenty of examples of people who ruin things for others they claim they are like or claim they want to help. Either they are liars who just want to cause fights for kicks and use a group as a defense, or they are people with not even the tiniest shred of tactical knowledge. usually both.

I don't think anyone actually sided with the harassment. However, I think the whole experience made Silvervale question how close she was with the VTuber community at large. A lot of the Twitter freaks claim to be VTubers. Although most of them have never even streamed.

I would moreso say passively support by not defendinging her honestly, Something I would do as well if it happened to me and my "friends" just wacthed since it's "not their fight" or something similar. another reason is most likely that the promised community and solidadity Vshojo had has kinda vanished as everyone went in different direcfions. Right around or sometime after the Nux drama I believe is when it began to fall apart.

Apparently there's also misinformation about which stream her message "everyone makes mistakes" was posted in, the screenshot is from one of her own streams (I don't know which one though, I couldn't find it) as showed by the camera logo on the side and not from Silver's chat but the message was still about her and the drama. The others were either targeted by them for playing/wanting to play Hogwarts Legacy or similar dumb stuff such as lolis (Henya, Silvervale, Gura, Pippa, Shondo, Veibae) or against them/standing for their targets, more or less publicly (Shylily, Asmongold, Moistcritikal, Ironmouse).

If anyone has proof of anyone in VShojo actively participating in the harassment and doxxing of Silvervale, that is one thing, but I'm pretty sure that never happened, and the implication that it did happen is misinformation.
