It is completely stupid and nonsense that you cannot asume someone's gender, yet they are completely fine declaring a character's gender, even when their creator states their gender
I mean i think you shouldnt but i also dont throw a fit. Im a straight male who looks feminine, especially when i had long hair and when I got misgendered I just laughed it off 😂. I just took it as they thought i was beautiful and moved on

No one is saying their gender is anything other than female to my knowledge so idk what you’re getting at. They’re just declaring that they’re trans. That doesn’t deny that they’re female.
@@kyubeyz_7062 Ahh but unfortunately for these twitter jokes they would even get offended by you even saying that that’s how fragile these people are even comments that aren’t even considered critical can be offensive to them
Gwen was female long before these psychos started ASSUMING she was trans. Don’t let them erase strong female characters just because they want to stroke their fragile egos.
This is how I feel about the bs I, Joan movie. Joan of Arc was a woman. It was questioned whether she was trying to stop being a woman at her trial and even the people who ended up burning her at the stake took that point of their accusation back. It was the only point they didn't go through. The people who literally killed her were more respectful to her identity than the woke "acceptance for everyone's expression" people today.
"A cop would never be an ally unless they have a trans family member" It really says something about these people when _that_ is the thing they choose to single out as "unrealistic" in this movie.
Don't forget from one of the comments. The cop is also a "white father". That's very significant too. Totally unrealistic that a white father who is a cop can support trans.
Like, if that's really the argument that they want to use as "evidence", then... they _are_ aware that the movie a) is a piece of fiction that b) _literally_ takes place in other dimensions, right? Even if it would "never" happen IRL, well, this movie doesn't take place IRL.
I love how pointing out how silly it is to call a character a certain trait due to colors makes you automatically (according to twitter freaks); •a racist •a Nazi •a transphobe •mentally disabled •AND a pedophile. Wew lad.
I will never understand how the colors blue and pink got basically hijacked by a movement, and if you make any reference to said colors, you're either a trans person or you're mocking the movement. Like, how strong must a bubble be to believe that this is normal behavior?
Funny how those people call out cultural approration yet because of them we cant use certain colors and the rainbow anymore without it having to be about them

If we apply this logic to other spider-people aside from Miles and Gwen like for instance Peter Parker, since Peter's suit is Red, White and Blue, I guess that would make him either an American Patriot or a Confederate.
Yes, yes, Gwen Stacy is trans. These people are insane. She's drawn as a pretty young woman, distinctly female figure, voiced by a woman, acts like a woman, is based on OG Peter's dead girlfriend. Her world is drawn in water color. Obviously: trans... I got nothing.
that's the problem with schizo people. they aren't into logic, only into their self made up worlds in their head. They are like flat earthers, you could teach them physics all day long and they would still not understand that the earth is a sphere. The same goes with these people. Their cognitive bias is so strong, that when they see the slightest critique of their opinion they need to block it, because god beware they might start to THINK through their own ideas
Twitterfreaks don't understand facetious arguments/satire. Or more specifically, the concept of using their own logic to show how stupid their logic is.

Equal rights doesn't mean you get to redefine biology, speech, pronouns. Equal rights doesn't mean you get special treatment. You want tolerance and acceptance, then start tolerating and accepting opposing views and values.
Trans people who act like they're on a higher plane of existence just because they're trans should really take notes and learn that equal rights means everyone is treated the same. Not have it as "I'm trans ive been through alot that means you have to watch what you say to me and take my feelings into considerate more than your own, you dont get an opinion what i say goes".
These people don't want equal rights - they are fascists. They want ALL rights for themselves and none for the rest. If they would want equal rights, they would have to accept that 99% of the people are not trans, that 85-90% are not gay and that being straight, white, male is as ok as being gay, trans, lesbian etc. but they can't, as they are literal fascists in their head, they are the Nazis they believe they fight
It keeps breaking peoples brains that they're 100% always "It's okay when we do this never when you do this." They cannot see how insane they sound or how it applies to them even if you take them step by step. It's literally the Patrick 'not my wallet' meme irl.

One funny thing i found about this was one of the first comments on the thing was one saying "This guy is not pedo?“ (I leave this comment before getting to that part of the video because i found the OG one on twitter)
Pedophilia is when a grown ass adult is sexually attracted to children *because* they're children, period. People need to stop changing its definition. Unless the person literally goes on asking nudes to real children-teens or went sexual about them irl (or both in an attempt to gain their trust), it is not pedophilia. Emphasis on *REAL* children, real ones.
I think the main difference between Gwen and Miles is that there’s trans flags and colors in Gwen’s world but not Miles. Ultimately I don’t think it’ll be confirmed either way. I think the reason that people want Gwen to be trans is because of what’s happening in the USA. Tensions are high and people are way more defensive because of all that. Love your videos btw.
Tensions are high about what? That parents are tired of weirdos grooming their kids in schools without their consent so the Rainbow Brigade throws a fit that they don't have access to their easily mentally malleable victims as much?
Just now I actually read with my eyeballs someone typing on twitter"Mutants are meant to be stand ins for queer people". I don't know if I should cry or laugh
To be fair that was an argument the Nostalgia Critic and other people made in regards to the 90s cartoon and the original trilogy, though the latter holds more water for it with the line from Rogue's mother "Have you tried not being a mutant?"
that's par for the course. before the mutants were meant to represent black people. in another setting, they would represent jews. in the future, maybe they'll represent white people. peeps really do be pulling a English Teacher move and reading too much in between the lines
This is why I use Quora. There was a similar situation where a user claimed that someone was asexual by their colors... AND IMMEDIATELY GOT CALLED OUT FOR IT. They left Quora soon afterwards, apparently - I think they were expecting it to be another Twitter, failing to realize that Quora is pretty unbiased and let's anyone talk (I've encountered actual Nazis to full on Communists, both excusing their sides respective evils, to conservatives casually debating liberals and both sides getting good points out and leaving to respect the other, to liberals grouping together to get a person banned because they disagreed with them - Marc Lawrence being a great one- yet failing and instead bolstering their reputation).
What people don't get is that no one ever thinks about the colors on a character. Most people don't major in color theory. And even if they did, you won't find anyone breaking down a character like this. Now, I will say, color does play a significant role in character design, but what those colors mean to you may not be the intent of the original character designer that created them. So assuming that someone's trans or a nazi because of the character's color scheme, using their (the Twitter Freak's) same logic back at them "you have misrepresented those characters, and that's disrespectful". But all in all, every one just wants to watch what they like and watch characters that they like. No one will analyze and decipher what the colors on a character means. Because if you're doing that all the time when you watch something, life's just going to be harder for you.
This can be provev by watching Cure Prism's design ironically. Cure Prism's design does have the pink-white-blue color scheme on her costume, yet sheis absolutely a female and ACTS like a female through the entire series. Character designers rarely care about making a statement when they choose colors as it's already pretty hard to find a proper palette often times.
@@mienoni5330 I don’t mean to sound rude but what exactly do you mean by “acts female and is absolutely a female”? Are you saying trans women don’t act female??
@@Jynxxx5 No, I'm saying that there is nothing that suggest of Prism being a trans women, however, by using the color argument people could literally claim she is. Bad wording from me, I apologize.
it is actually funny when they get mad at a person using their own logic against them. so when they complain about it. they are openly admitting their own ideas are stupid without realizing it.
Ah yes I can relate to that. Washing out the word "pedophile", changing it to a simple buzzword and calling people who has loli profile pic, play Genshin Impact or even watch anime is really hurtful not only for a victim of pedophilia, but also for a person who is accused (with no evidence) for being a pedo. That's a fucking strong and serious accusation that can ruin someone's life. Calling someone like this even in jokes is really shameful because someone may take this seriously and also it's disrespectful for a person of a real assault.
"Pedophile means anything I guess" (KFC ad interrupts video) "Crispy chicken, crunchy pickles and mayo?" This is the second time in 2 days for me that KFC came in with perfect timing.

Hey twitter, you can be cis and have a trans flag in your room, that’s what being an “ally” is. You don’t need to project that hard. Miles was just as relatable in the first movie because a lot of the experiences shown in him coming to grips with spidey powers can be relatable to the queer/trans/minority experience, but that doesn’t make him a trans guy. That’s always what’s been great about spiderman, anyone can relate to spiderman, literally the lesson of the first movie is “ANYONE can wear the mask” Just some food for thought from a trans gal who felt Gwen was genuinely relatable without needing to headcanon her as trans.
Real question is, why now? Spider-Gwen made her first appearance in 2014 so why didn’t they claim she was trans 2014-2022. The answer is quite simple, they were waiting for the character to become more popular and be in the spotlight so they could once again try to plagiarize someone else’s work and piggyback on the fame. It’s all about getting attention and starting controversy.
People are forgetting Gwen's costume design was pretty much straight from the comics and that design had absolutely nothing to do with the trans flag 🙄 it is just a fantastic color scheme for her style and personality People need to stop forcing existing characters to change to fit their views and make their own original characters
I used to say that Rainbow is my favourite color (when asked) just because I like colours but people like these makes me say I don't have a favorite color.
1:14 this also proves that wonder woman represents venezuela 😂 the memes that came out of it were hilarious Mexican deku, Colombian Optimus prime, etc 😅
They fr acting like the colours on the trans flag aren't also just colours that look good together. I really like this colour combination, it usually made me think of cotton candy. But, if I were to use this colour combination in anything, I feel like it'll be misconstrued.
If you avoid using it now out of fear that means they've won. They've bullied you out of your freedom and hijacked it for themselves. Give an inch and they keep taking mile after mile. I mean just look what they did to poor Bridget. They're not going to slow down and become _more_ logical.
It’s too bad not a lot of people here are commenting on the fact that someone accused you of being attracted to children and people just wildly believed it. That’s not okay. Even if it’s from twitter nobodies, no one deserves that form of blind accusation
fun fact: the black and red color palet was the original concept for the sybiote spider man when it was originally being made before they went with the og design
I’m trans, my boyfriend is trans, and I honestly fucking hate part of our community. It’s great if you’re happy coming out as trans, gay, ace or anything else, and it’s great if you want to tell people that you are that, but why does this need to be people’s only personality trait. Plus like, claiming that a random character is trans for literally no reason and then trying to cancel someone who gives a logical statement as to why that is incorrect is some of the dumbest shit, especially because these r the people that would attempt to maul you irl if you accidentally misgendered them before they told you their pronouns.
This is also disappointing because people who haven’t seen the movie see stuff like this, and immediately assume the movie is packed with wokeness, and as a result the movie could get a lot of undeserved hate when in reality (in my personal opinion), it’s a genuinely good movie.
The most ridiculous about that is that her pallet isn't even pink, blue and white, but BLACK, pink, blue and white. Her outfit doesn't have 3 colors, it has 4 and they ignore the main one to try to push a narrative that has never been canon.
The trans flag is pretty close to the proposed MAP flag, which adds yellow. Since Gwen has blonde hair, she actually matches the MAP flag more, making her a MAP according to their logic.
All they're doing by taking existing characters and just slapping the label of "Trans" on them is implying that trans people aren't worth the effort of making them some characters of their own, same with gay people. What kind of "ally" does that?
Only straight white characters count to them, original characters that fall outside of those criteria aren't "marketable". So they take the straight white characters and put their clown in them.
I hate having to do the whole "I'm this" bit but its necessary to get a point across. As someone who is trans (actually intersex), its annoying seeing things like this. First of all people arguing about a fictional character? But also, I really dislike when people argue that a character is a thing based on colour design. No one owns colours. I don't really understand the argument people are making either. Whites, blues and pinks are common colours haha. Not to mention forcing someone, a character or real person, to be something they aren't... isn't that what we are against? That people can be who they are and not forced into a certain gender identity? I don't get it haha.
She has a son with miles in the comic😂 last I checked a trans can’t have children😂 god Lord this idiocy is so mind numbing and you ain’t ruining one of the best spider man movies in a long time
It is. It's called addiction. Kids for example have poor social skills and often aggressive behavior problems if they're given too much freedom at a young age. The internet is bad for the health of young kids, and being obsessed and stuck in your own little echo chamber all day is what produced people like this in the first place.
Love how the implications of Gwen being trans ultimately results in erasing yet another strong female character - like okay, guess women can't be strong or courageous or badasses unless they used to be male -_-
That's what makes Disney movies so sad these days. All the "strong" characters are just angry men played by a female actor. And to add insult to injury they make them look manly too. They hate and insult men but end up actually praising them at every turn.
As a trans person this makes me upset, the fact that people on twitter are doing this shit is gross, and I agree with you they should be ashamed of themselves. I absolutely agree with the point you made about OG characters being a better choice to make trans that already existing characters.
I am really ready for this particular community to just go away. They need to grow up, phase out, & become a bad memory they will desperately try to forget.
