Not heard of these but for 1 Blues situation does not seem like a scam. Just unfounded accusations followed by an overwhelmed person pulling out of a lawsuit that likely wouldnt work.
Same, maybe because it’s a « big » story but it just seems like an inexperienced person freaking out and not scamming anyone. Because I am convinced that we would be absolutely aware if she truly didn’t pay back everyone. She already had a target on her back so no proof of lack of pay would immediately been pointed out.

I dated a girl who worked for twitter years ago when they were taking off. When we broke up, I swore off the platform entirely because it reminded me of her too much and holy crap has it been hilarious to watch everything from the outside lmao

The first one was the funniest scam ever, it was hilarious seeing this in real time. It was so obvious that the original post was a troll, all people had to do was go through the post history but of course people are dumb as bricks.

I’ve never seen so many hateful racist sexist comments altogether in one place before… go read replies on news stories that deal with anything involving a black person or an Asian person or a woman. It could even be a positive story and the replies are just … awful. And I’m not easily stirred but whenever the Asian places in Cali got shot up and many people died, I mistakenly looked at a news article on Twitter and wow, that was the last time I went on there. Before that it was the rapper who was killed after tagging his location showing him wearing expensive jewelry and someone came in and shot him dead in broad daylight and stole his shit. He was a victim yet you would have thought he absolutely 100% deserved it according to the replies.
The second story wasn't a scam. It was a person who realized that what they were trying to do wasn't as easy as they thought and gave everyone their money back. That's very honorable.
Ya it's true it's sad that nothing happened to valid ls because he did cause her family to cut all ties with her by making fake screenshots. She wanted him to get justice but realised she could not
"I had good intentions" is the war cry of every scammer. he only gave the money back because he got caught. it would cost more if people filed legal action against him.

It was going to miscellaneous stuff like streaming equipment, clothing and giving friends money when it should of went towards moving/ legal fund. Demonmamas video on keffals drops all the proof and screenshots (not defending keffals, lying to donors and scamming is horrible)
Karens typically are women that have massive public freakouts over very small issues. Often including racist comments of some kind. Though, there are some that use it incorrectly to shut down women that disagree with them. Just not a common use of the phrase compared to the typical use.

Yeah, that one seemed a bit odd to include. One thing is if part of the story was faked, like the messages between her father and her, but it seems she just lacked foresight and had a genuine misunderstanding over who she needed to actually take legal action against. Also, no sympathy for doxxers. They can get stuffed.
Feels weird to slide in a trans person who, in the video, was literally shown not to be a scammer via actual refund screenshots among a video of actual intentionally malicious scammers. feels almost targeted (as well as presenting validls as an unbiased account and ignoring the blatant transphobia present in their literal profile photo and banner)
I don't understand why the Bluefolf story is here. By all accounts, she didn't scam anybody and refunded all of the money donated herself. Why was it even mentioned?
The whole Bluefolf thing is fucked. She didn’t deserve any of what happened, and I’m just glad she’s staying strong throughout it. I don’t think the situation belongs in this video, as it was a mistake by someone who was just 19 and wasn’t entirely sure of how the law worked, not to mention the fact that she refunded everyone upon realising she couldn’t go through with it.
Yea, I'm not sure why she's in this compilation of scammers. She refunded everyone, and there was never any proof she was going to run with the money. Only people specuating.
Why was the ValidLs/Bluefolf Situation brought up here? They were not a scammer, that should be obvious, at best they were overly quick to attempt to sue.
@@enderkatze6129 It is significantly easier, my furry adversary, to prove that any of the money was returned in the first place. Which none of it was. No one has shown that it was returned despite people asking BlueFolf for proof the money was refunding, because BlueFolf already spent it.
I'm actually glad Runescape and other MMO's taught me about scams (Armor trimming, dungeon leeching lmao) so that I don't fall for irl, money related ones.

BlueFolf gave all the money back, my guy :/ I don't think it's fair to put someone who gave all the money back, after a doxxing and a slew of false allegations calling her a pedophile led her to make a rash decision, in a video about scammers.
@@bagelforks Oh for sure, I agree. I saw it all go down real time and the amount of people who were telling her to sue ValidL's was immense. She was under stress, defending herself from vile allegations and was struggling with what to do. The moment the worst of the storm passed, it became more obvious as to the challenges of the lawsuit, so she pulled it. This is the problem with ValidL's, he hides behind the anonymity to get away with just bullying people, because it's hard to trace him and thus cause repercussions.
I think most of the folks here would agree with you on that. It’s just the vocal minority proving that we do indeed live in a society with them championing the scammer in question for sticking it to those evil Orange Man supporters.

Gender dysphoria can be, but if someone has transitioned and they are much happier and do not experience dysphoria anymore, it is no longer an illness. Mental illness usually needs the patient to be distressed. People who are comfortable in their own body, whether or not they are the same gender they were born as, aren’t mentally ill in that regard.

To add on to this, a suit for defamation would probably go in the favor of bluefolf, as ValidLs literally made up some screenshots of blue committing a crime. That's textbook defamation.

Most people simply don't like praising and supporting mental illness and children ruining their lives because social media told them they were trans. My daughter swore she was trans for two years and made it her obsession. Wouldn't talk about anything else. Ten other girls in her class were the exact same way. They all started cutting themselves and ranting to each other about how cis/het people are trying to commit geocide against them every day. A poll conducted at her school said that 40% of the school identified as trans or non-binary. That is literally impossible. After going to therapy for a while, she has, by herself, decided that the LGBTQ community is a vile cult-like group that tricked her into believing she was something she was not, and she is just so glad she didn't take it further than she did. Now, she is back to makeup and skirts and is actually happy. I never once shared my opinion on trans people with her. Knew it would pass so no use getting worked up. Only got her into therapy for the cutting (Which she also learned from social media glorifying cutting, it turns out.) After two years, 10 of the 11 girls are back to being "cis". The other one of the other girls attempted to burn her own house down because her dad wouldn't pay to have her breasts cut off and went to a mental hospital, apparently. Moral of the story, get help if you have the legit mental illness that causes you to be trans and get help if you were brainwashed by hundreds of LGBTQ influencers that say the reason you're uncomfortable in your body during puberty isn't because you're going through puberty, but because you're trans. Fuck, we need to just find a cure at this point. Legit trans people are suffering mentally and are spreading their suffering to innocent kids like some sort of social contagion. Most of us are just sick of it. Note: I do agree with the part I do agree that Blue shouldn't be on here. That story doesn't really fit the theming here. So at least we can agree on one thing.

It's quite clear the entire thing was a scam. The goal being at only $1 him not knowing anything about validls or if he was even in the us at all.
Bluefolf didn’t even go in with any kind of intention to scam, she got overwhelmed and way in over her head, and after realizing she had no idea what she was doing, refunded the money. The bias here toward ValidL’s side (who by the fucking way has even been disavowed by OTHER TRANSPHOBES FOR HIS EXTREMISM) is blatant by the end of the segment when you continue talking about the case as if it was a scam. Please do better GFM, this is extremely disappointing to see out of someone I’ve been subbed to and whose content I’ve enjoyed this long. :/

It's funny how forgiving people are of scammers when they're on the left side of the political spectrum, which is perhaps why it seems to be incredibly common. Like the third story where the person is caught with their hand in the cookie jar, yet people forgive it because they refunded everybody. A failed scam is still a scam, they were caught and the only reason they refunded people was because their details were public so they couldn't get away with taking the money and running, leaving refunding people as the only viable option. "They just got in over their head" is an easy excuse, especially when people want to believe it. Raising money for a case you haven't even filed is almost fraudulent, especially when it appears that they've done absolutely no research into the viability of the case to begin with. Setting the goal at $1 is the kicker though, that shows they just wanted the money ASAP, and that they had no interest in even looking into how much legal fees would even be for their case.
