This sounds like he is suffering from an episode of paranoid mania. The quick rate of speaking, the fact that he’s seemingly up at late hours of the night not sleeping, delusional and scattered thinking and his parents requested the police do a wellness check on him, hinting that he may have previously diagnosed mental health issues.

He's Schizophrenic...... Unfortunately that disease has a range that could go until your mid 20's before signs/symptoms appear. Obviously as a professional I'm basing that on the assumption that he truly believes what he is saying. He has entered paranoid delusions along with hallucinations. His comment "thank you to my parents for calling the police for a wellness check", let's one know that his parents would rather call authorities instead of simply calling or checking on him themselves. They've reached a point that only professionals are able to help. Again I'm basing that on he truly believes what he is saying.

@@yourfabuloushappymann5154 I don’t think it is necessarily a “childhood” fear. There are so many cases where they found the criminal because the person mentioned something that the police never released publicly, like that there were 12 stab wounds or the murder weapon was determined to be a barbecue fork. Sometimes that there were stab wounds *at all* they don't release publicly and the suspect will be like "I don't know who stabbed her!" even though the police didn't say anyone was stabbed. That's why they keep so much of the investigation quiet, because it's easier to point to a suspect when they mention something that wasn't in any of the reports.

I can speak for the ones in Wisconsin. They all happened in college towns, 95% were men, 90% or so were college students, 100% were drinking and leaving a bar. LaCrosse especially got worked up about it and they installed cameras in the parks near the river. What it was, was the simplest explanation. They were drunk, wandering alone, walked downhill which is towards rivers or lakes, and they fell in and drowned. That was it in 100% of the cases. Parents and friends of the people didn't want to admit that their, generally young men, would get drunk and do something foolish like that. But it happened in every instance.

27:00 As someone with Bipolar 1, I was actually thinking this exact same thing for the entire video. The big red flag for me is when Ken said "Thanks to my parents for calling the police and checking to see if I was ok" This means that he very likely has a history of either paranoid delusions or manic episodes (both hare very strongly related) A private detective did not come to his house. It was more than likely a wellness check to make sure he was not going to do something insane. Study his eyes in each video. They progressively get more and more tired, which means he is likely not sleeping, which is something that happens during manic episodes. This all reminds me of when I was not on medication and had paranoid delusions like this. Guys, you can trust me on this. I am a certified crazy person and I have the documents.

Now as a person who lives in Chicago, we have had a lot of men between the ages of 21-35 to have gone missing or have been found in the lakes and rivers after leaving the bars here. Most of the men who were found were shown to have called for an Uber before being labeled as missing. It’s been happening for almost a year. So I can understand how Chicagoans at least could’ve easily fell in the beginning to this. Here in Chicago we have been speculating that we have a few serial killers lurking around just based off of unsolved disappearances, weirdly similar unsolved murders and witness reports.

There's a reason why random people aren't detectives. Correlation does not equal causation. He even brings up the Smiley Face gang 20:09, which is a classic example of a correlation/causation. Drawing a smiley face is one of the most common things people spray paint. The odds of finding a body near a smiley face is increased because drawing a smiley face is common. That doesn't mean there is a group of people who purposely draws a smiley face somewhere near the body with a different art styles/colors each time.

You don't have to read it if that kind of thing disturbs you but please know that 'Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation of the Most Holy Rosary of the Order of Preachers" is a name used to help debunk the theory and I find its inclusion to be hilarious. Back when i was 16 (in 2016) I had a habit of going for late night walks. One night at like ~230am when i was almost back to my girlfriend's apartment, a middle aged guy with a heavy Central European accent pulled over and called me over, asked me if i knew where Austin Texas was (like an hour north), when i told him how to get there he told me he was going to a party, then he asked me if i like to party and wanted to go party with him, then when i declined he started offering me MDMA if i went with him. I just told him I'm almost back to my girlfriend's apartment and i didn't want to go anywhere with him, and eventually he fucked off. Even as soon as it happened i realised it read like a Reddit creepypasta and I've only ever told a handful of people. Thank God that experience didn't inspire me to some grifter hero's complex.

I disagree. That chances that the same car with different drivers on different occasions approached him like that is almost zero unless he lives in a town with 200 people. What you're describing is a combination of paranoid delusions and narcissism. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, so I am familiar with paranoid delusions, and I have witnessed the more extreme version that people with schizophrenia have. This guy does not fit anywhere on this spectrum. People on the lesser end, like me, do not hallucinate, but we do form opinions based on evidence that is probably just a random coincidences or magical thinking. While people on the other end are having hallucinations about events that never happened or about secret messages coming from God or from the government etc. But the thing these ALL have in common, is that if you hear a person who is having one of these episodes, the things they are saying are never convincing or compelling except to people who are in agreement with any bigoted things that might be included in their rants. Gabbie Hannah, Britney Spears, Kanye West and Fousey are examples of this, though I mean no disrespect to them. This guy was just creating a clever publicity stunt. This was not mental illness.

As someone who gets manic attacks yeah, this guy is sounding hellaciously manic. The speech patterns are consistent. It's almost clipped and hard to find words for what you're trying to say. He's struggling to prove his point and excitable about it when he has it built to a point it makes sense in his head, and I'm sure to him all of this is true. Even if it's not. The worst part is I know this is more than one take on each clip of his, so he's had a chance to draft a cohesive "plot" to work through his brain on it. It just won't work because it's not cohesive.
