I think it's a testament to the intelligence (or rather lack of 💀) of certain Twitter communities that hardly any of them were able to deduce that the reason why Alice would set Alex's name as that is because of how often he called her that, especially considering she explicitly said that her mouth isn't clean and she returned a lot of the toxicity Alex threw at her, but instead immediately jumped to label her "racist" despite the fact that it was obviously not used in a racially motivated context.

Another great example of not judging a book by its cover. I feel slightly ashamed to say it, but my first impressions of Alex were centered entirely around his appearance. Thought he was just a willowy, limp-wristed, pencil-necked geek, and that wispy, obsessively-groomed baby mustache has always been the icing on the cake. And yet despite looking like the type of guy who couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag, Alex has managed to victimize and manipulate women on the DL for what seems like a long ass time.
