Me spending millions on Squid Game is a good thing. I paid 140 construction contractors to help build the sets and gave them steady work for a month. As well as over 100 part time helpers, 30 production people, lighting guys, camera, sound guys, etc. AND I gave all 456 contestants $2,000 for participating ($900,000) as well as the winner $456,000. My version of squid game did so much for my local economy and if anyone should complain it’s me because I’m taking a phat L financially on this video haha As always I appreciate the kind words Charlie! After everything I do, I barely make any money and im constantly having to borrow because im running out and accidentally overspending. Idc about $ I just want to make dope videos and help people
Also Twitter- “aliens??? How fucking dare you use that derogatory term for immigrants that came to this country to find a better life. You piece of shit”
While I'm subscribed to the Eat The Rich mentality, some people are way too much of a purist. I'm sure Mr. Beast pays his fair share of taxes. With that and all the philanthropy I can't imagine what more you could want from a rich guy other than him keep doing what he's doing
It's like if I don't donate it you complain about how I could have donated it, then when I do it on camera you complain about how I did it for views, if I do it off-camera you complain about how I never did it in the first place.
@@AshenDemon yeah, I think that was the point of the whole video. I get the sentiment, many rich people are garbage, but trashing on Mr. Beast is just a weird hill to die on.
Telling MrBeast that he should help people more is like going to a homeless shelter and getting mad at someone working there for buying a candy bar on break.
@@189Blake we'll see the truth of charlie's character now, i mean jimmy isn't as close with him as someone like matt but this is definitely a turning point
no no, it’s just the glasses. i’ll give a great example, the battlefield video. he went fucking clark kent and turned into superman and had more brainpower than fucking elon musk disclaimer: it’s a joke, please do not take it serious
Sometimes I wish Twitter just disappears, but that's not the problem... The braindead people would go to another social network to fight and say whatever they want... Really sad
There'd still be some benefits in that Twitter's style and functionalities kind of encourage the degradation, polarization and other such creeping idiocy where there's ground for it, but yes, the idiots would go elsewhere.
Deleting Twitter would be like demolishing an ugly prison and letting all of the convicts there roam free to do whatever they want. You might not have to look at the prison anymore, and those people won't be feeding eachother ideas in a giant circlejerk, but now you have to deal with them everywhere else. The honeypot that is Twitter is probably a necessary evil to keep these terrible people away from everyone else.
We need some real life intervention whenever someone say too many dumb shits online. The law need to trace them and revoke their internet access for a time, if they access it and say more dumb shit it's jail time. It'll teach dumbasses and if they don't learn we'll not hear from them anymore.
It's all nothing but virtue signalling. The people that bash people for how they spend their money would never actually behave how they tell others to behave were they in that position. Just look at Hasan.
The sad thing is, if you are like mrbeast and you constantly give to people, and you act selfless. Then people EXPECT you to act selfless, and soon enough, when you act selfless, people see it as a normal thing for you, but as soon as your NOT giving THOUSANDS of dollars to people, people notice, and criticize you. It’s honestly the worst.
At least there are people, like the ones in this community that don't think with such a stupid mindset. No matter what you do, stupid people will make stupid takes.
Bruh get them gits a plane to my trash can then. I hate when people say that. Okay if I could teleport object I’ll teleport the dish but I can’t so oh well

This comment kind of sounds like you are implying that people shouldn’t criticise extremely rich people for not donating more of their money if they personally don’t frequently donate money/ volunteer, which is an extremely flawed take. Obviously I don’t agree with the Twitter user who came after mr beast because he DOES donate a lot of his money, but people are completely entitled to criticise e.g Jeff bezos, Elon musk etc. for being greedy because their contexts are completely different.
I always love how the screenshots that Charlie posts are expanded to fit the video frame, and it just enhances the inherent meme value present in Charlie's lore.
@@iggykad "what, communism means no 3 million dollar mansion that's bigger than many of the billionaires I complain about for a living while pushing communism" "Yes"
"Maybe you should be using some of that wealth to better the world" *Looks at Mr. Beast spearheading both team trees, team seas, and probably another couple dozen charities he's done events for and raised money for. Out of all the people with wealth to go after, Mr. Beast was your choice?
the real reason is mrbeast is really not that big as the richest people in the world, that's why twatter targets him because it's easier, targetting the richest people would make them an enemy of murifuckingca
He's worth a fraction of a fraction of a penny compared to others like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, and he got there by being entertaining, not by putting workers through unsafe conditions. Him doing squid game funny for 2 mil is about as low on the priority list as it gets for rich people misusing money. Feels like they're just going after him because he's trendy and taking him down is more achievable than taking down Bezos or whoever.
So bezos and musk put their employees through unsafe conditions?😂 both their companies combined help employ over 6 million people if you include Amazon marketplace. I think that’s a good thing. I’m sure the work conditions are much better than construction workers and electrical workers have.
@@illusorytrutheffect go read some news articles on this topic published by credible sources and then come back because your comment is the most incorrect shit ive seen all day
@@illusorytrutheffect Im pretty sure some if not a lot of workers in those places under elon can be unsafe as he doesnt check millions of the places those people work in daily. not exactly Elons fault im pretty sure the guy who made this comment wasnt trying to really point fingers he only said that just to defend mr beast more
@@illusorytrutheffect checks out that you are a liberal. They exploit their worker and fight against their unionization. Exploitation is inherent in capitalism. So stop defending billionaires they didn't earn their wealth they exploited the surplus value of the workers.
I just recently quit Twitter and was debating whether that was the right choice or not because the Hawkeye Disney+ series premiered today, and I felt like I was missing out on all the fan reactions that I usually scroll through on Twitter following something of that nature, and this video reinforced the idea that I made the better decision.
i swear, watching Charle’s videos is like wild pokémon hunting. white shirt charlie is a regular version, black shirt charlie is a shiny, and charlie with a hat or even glasses is like a regional variant.
the irony is, just donating all that money immediately does less “net good” in the end. Mr Beast both donates *and* he reinvests money in various forms to _make more money_ to _donate more._
You cant expect these lefty commies on twitter to understand anything about money making, investing can you They think money comes from trees they never think how will this guy make money to donate. Their mind is all about gib me gib me gib me for free

The usual envious beggers, they're not calling him out of trying to take a moral hihgground. They just wish he'd give them some some money instead, it's why they're obsessed with telling people how to spend their money
I kind of lost respect to Charlie amidst the mrbeast allegation stuff. I mean I get it, mrbeast is the biggest on yt and Charlie doesn't want to be in his bad side. An act of self-preservation. Maybe it's on me personally expecting too much of Charlie.
@@cyancat8633 Well he collabed several times with MrBeast as well as recently and suddenly stopped covering YT drama as soon as the MrBeast alligations occured so... Yeah not a good look
Folks don't realize this. But a large platform is required in order to accomplish big goals. its just how the world works. Jimmy has to balance quite a bit and he does a good job at it.
I sincerely doubt the people jumping on the bandwagon to attack him donate any money at all to charity. He donates more in a year than most people will make in their whole life.
Charlie isn't wearing the glasses for him, he's wearing them for us. He realized his eyes were too powerful, and needed to add an extra layer of protection to keep us sane after watching his videos.
I always knew MrBeast was a good guy with all the charity stuff he does on his channel, but goddamn he does so much more than I thought. I didn't even know about the off-camera food bank he runs until now. That man is doing God's work
I was homeless for four years. I've had enough fucking food to last me a life time. What I didn't have and desperately needed WAS A PLAVE TO LIVE! People creating foodbanks where there is already foodbanks which is most likely what Mr beast is doing aren't helping people. They're doing PR management. Also of course you brought up god, it's bible thumpers like you who are doing the most of this!
@@TobyFloof I'm sorry to hear you had to go through that, but that's not entirely true. Just because you had food during that time doesn't mean others do. Not every homeless person is in the same situation that you were in so they might be having a way worse time than you did so MrBeast is indeed helping a lot more than you might realize. Also I'm not even religious, I was just using the saying.
@@TobyFloof If he wasnt helping anybody then no one would be eating the food he's giving away, and if that were the case he'd certainly go and help the community in other ways, he is definitely wealthy but for one person to singlehandedly provide housing and accomodation for an entire community requires obscene wealth and donations, people take up a huge amount of space and unless theyre willing to live in the middle of nowhere, just the cost of purchasing land for people to live on would drain his bank account.
So basically people on Twitter saying to Mr.Beast to stop posting videos on his YT channel, now here's the thing, how can he have that millions of dollars if he didn't upload the good stuff? I think Twitter people think that money comes instantly without working i guess.
They be critiquing Mr Beast for "not bettering the world" when all they do to "better the world" is tweet about it. While Mr Beast is doing Team Trees and Team Seas
Well considering alot of them think that you should have housing for free as a virtue of living or that someone shouldnt be able to as much property as they like I would say this a fair assumption

I can understand that but why is he not talking about the recent mr beast stuff especially since mr beast has been deleted comments that mention about it and the only response to the allegations that happened only covered the faking video stuff (which is the least bad allegation thrown towards him) oh yeah not to mention dogpack getting cesis and desist

it's just weird to criticize mr. beast in specific, when he's literally known for his generosity. he donates a majority of what he makes to people in financial trouble. if twitter wants to go after the rich and gluttonous, the kardashians are right there, but apparently mr. beast is an easier target?
@- hehehe bye bye - they are still white females tho. smh y’all always make everything about race and gender . Idk who’s worse when it comes to that, the woke crowd or the anti-woke crowd. It’s like choosing between 2 piles of shit.
Yeah I dont get it. I think the problem is people just follow things blindly, and that causes them to not understand what other people are striving for and misrepresent it. Lets take "eat the rich" for example. Mr.Beast would not fall under "rich" in this statement. Its the filthy rich, like 1B rich, not a couple million. But people dont understand that and post stupid tweets like this and ruin everyones opinion of a movement and ruin it. I dont think Mr.Beast should have a obligation to use his money to help people because he has made it legit without screwing people over, and yet he still uses it to help people which makes him a person everyone should strive to be (rich and poor). So I agree with you 100% :)

I think Jimmy knows that as well. No matter how genuinely good a person is, Twitter users will always find a way to make you look like you're an advocate for human trafficking and tax evasion.
Mr Beast alone is pure physical proof that no matter what you do Twitter will never, ever be happy. They are dead set on nitpicking any small thing just so they can find an excuse to hate you.
