Alan: "It's an inlaid Mosaic dish handcrafted on the Island of Macao!" Charlie: "Yeah. Well... (throws it into the fireplace) Now it's rubble from the Island of Macao."
At the end, Wow! Charlie really redecorated! He turned Alan's room into a complete game room. From right to left: martini lamp, slot machine, (behind door) dart board, pachinko machine, folded up poker table, pinball machine, neon signs, bar and a pool table.
I remember when I first saw this when I was 11 and I could not stop laughing at "Take off that welcome mat you put on my front porch, no one's welcome here"
I know it’s just a show, but I’m with Charlie on this. It’s like when Alan and Melissa threw that big party after she moved in, and Alan said ‘I’m sorry, were we supposed to ask permission?’ Lol
I couldn't agree more. They do that on sitcoms a lot. Where a guest will move into someone's home and act like it's theirs when it's clearly not and they would either lose the arguments or get kicked out once and for all.
My favorite part of the game room is the pachinko machine. In case you don't know, it's that red & white thing on right side of the pinball machine. I love those! I have 6 of them myself, in fact, one of them is the same one seen in that new game room.
Charlie was totally in the right. Anyone who adds stuff in my house without asking will have hell to pay. It goes to show how important the brother part was to the whole of the series. No wonder it tanked without Charlie
I used to think Charlie was a bastard and Alan cannot catch a break. While that is somewhat true, Alan was in the wrong. He is an ungrateful freeloader with bad social skills. Charlie let Alan stay unconditionally and that in my books is a great brother. I know that feeling first feeling.
Charlie was a bad brother wtf 😂 he always humiliated and bullied his brother…not letting Allan being a homeless is not exactly a act of goodwill. He was not a good brother but he was damn funny lol
@@phralvim "Not letting Alan being a homeless is not exactly a act of goodwill. WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?! Charlie wasn't making Alan live with him against his will. He was living under his roof rent free and Charlie barely asked for much from Alan. Furthermore, a lot of times Alan deserved that humilation not to mention Alan humilated Charlie a lot.
@@maryhaynes3364 That's not the point. It is Charlie's house, it should've be whatever he says goes. Alan contribute jack to it, never paying rent. If Alan didn't like go back to Judith and see if she charges him any more than she already is.
Maybe if Jake had been there when Alan saw his room remodeled. Jake: Well Dad, you always said you wanted a game room. Now you have one. Alan: But this is not the way I wanted to get one! Where am I supposed to sleep now? Jake: There's a pillow and a blanket on the pool table. Well, good night.(leaves)
I hate the writers for this episode. Having Charlie apologize to Alan is stupid beyond imagination. It's his house, his rules especially since Alan contributes jack to it and constantly whines about it and Charlie's life style.
Also, when Evelyn and teddy had a fight, why is Evelyn packing her bags and have charlie stay there. Teddy should be the one leaving, he's in evelyn's house.
It is not "Charlie's house. " IT IS A BUILDING, THAT HE BORROWS FROM THE BANK. Miss a couple of payments ; see how fast it is gone Travel to any socialist country. see how quickly the govt can TAKE YOUR HOUSE. When you mature, you will understand this.
