We saw the Pomp and Circumstance of the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace in London on two separate days from two different (and perhaps the two best) vantage points: the front row by the Queen Victoria Memorial and the front row by the Buckingham Palace gate. There's a lot going on so I added a few Changing of the Guard fun facts so you know what you're looking at. I hope you enjoy the video!

At 8:35... that is the NEW guard going to St. James’s Palace. The old guard has already left for Wellington.

My father was a sergeant of the Queens guards.

@@frankrowland no my dad was general guards sergeant of the Queen's guards in London but they did send them out to IN when they had a war going on because my dad did b4 he married my mum in 1978 b4 they had 7 kids. Then they sent in all over the world

You can easily tell which guards regiment it is by the placement of the tunic buttons!

Best place is from the Queen Victoria memorial, about 2/3 of the way up, spectacular when they march out through the gates.

TheGrenadierGuardGaming it’s just part of the band, the Royal Marines band have the corps of drums at the front

I believe it's currently cancelled due to Covid, but normally it's daily in June and July and Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday August-May.
