We had an absolute BLAST! You made our morning, a memory to never forget! Thank you to all the lovely subscribers too, for your supportive comments! What a great community! X
About 15 years ago as I exited the Washington DC Metro (subway) to street level, I heard the the unmistakable opening strains of Ravel's Bolero being performed by a woman in a gown on the flute, and a gent in a suit on the violin. Perhaps 50 of us gathered around and enjoyed this interlude on our way to work. We were transfixed. Thank you to all street musicians who bring a bright shining light to our ordinary day. I was a few minutes late to work but, who cares.
We don’t have public pianos in Australia! WHY NOT! Awesome way to wait for a train or shop! I know I would spend a lot of time watching talented artists ….AWESOME!!
@@DrKBoogieWoogie 🤣 lol My intentions were purely chivalrous, Brendan! I just couldn't bear the thought of her being without a dance partner 😢😢 Admittedly my only experience of the Charleston, is watching Ola Jordon back in the days when I had a TV licence, but I'm a quick learner! 😉🤣🤣
Well that was brilliant, you just can't beat impromptu performances like these, long may they continue. Whoever came up with the idea of public pianos is onto an absolute winner...Well played all of you....
Amazing to me you create stunning impromptu music with total strangers, your passion and love for music is beautiful to hear and see...boogie on regardless❤
When I feel down I go to RU-vid and search for Dr K. Always cheers me up. From pranks to elaborating on performers own compositions. Love this and how natural the guys can take bounce off each other. Up there with Aussie girl. Thanks very much
Bravo , This is how new and upcoming proper British Well rounded talent for Entertainment purposes looks like! These girls have got that thing we like to call “IT” beautiful, talented and just having fun! Well done lady’s!
What an exciting performance❣️ It’s amazing how extremely talented musicians, who’ve never met before, can meet and play together, sound great, and have fun! You all rock!!!
I just loved watching these girls, the dancing and sax playing were amazing. The sax at the beginning sounded like the theme to the pink panther. What dynamic energy, thanks for making my day.
Oh, the wonder of music hearts! If all people had hearts and souls filled with music there would be no place for war and heatred. Thanks Brendan for all this joy you make. This jam with the talented saxophone and dancing girls was also great.
Oh boy quite an exciting morning at the boogie piano Dr. K .......how fantastic is that .....she's quite good too❗🤗🎼🎶🎶🎹😎❤😘🇨🇦....my grandson plays tenor and also sax and his piano too.....happy times with music ❤
This is beautiful but also makes me a little bit sad. I used to play alto saxophone back as a teenager and had a music teacher who embarrassed me for being late to a lesson because of a delayed release by one of my classroom teachers in high school. I subsequently quit playing as a result. Always meant to get back to it but years passed, raising kids and then of course the coup de grace which was someone stole my saxophone when I moved from one house to another. At any rate it always gives me pleasure to watch true masters at work! Thank you!
PS: I was 5 years old when Sister Anita smashed my fingers with a metal ruler so hard on my 6th beginner lesson, they bled. I hit the wrong note twice so she said “I deserved it and I would think about it and practice more.” I looked directly at her in the eyes and told her she was a terrible teacher an no good teacher would ever hit a student and make them bleed. She started to cry and then showed me to the door from the convent house. A week later she left the convent and 8 months later she married a man. I’m finally back to practicing the piano 60 years later and have a lot to learn to get proficient, but I’m determined to do so before I pass on.
In such a gray world, his music is a pastel of colors. Mr. Brandandon is a fantastic man, the best music flows through his veins. When you listen to his interpretations, you tremble with emotion. May God protect such people, the treasures of humanity! Your admirer from Timisoara, Romania greets you!
What a fantastic turn up by the two (very talented) girls with Dr K on the piano. I loved the pieces of music. The best things always turn out, when they are unplanned. Well done everyone...😎👍🏻👍🏻
A shame the Israelis and Palestinians are unable to bond like these total strangers. In fact, if all people globally put away their religions, weapons and dislikes and took up musical instruments together and jammed like these then the world would be a better place. Music unites, we should learn from this.
It is just amazing to me how people just walk on by and do not stop to enjoy the music. I’m sitting at my kitchen table just rockin away. People need to slow down and take life in.
I just love to listen to you play the piano. I always thought that I preferred listening to the cello or violin but not anymore. I’m 62 and housebound due to pandemic and your playing puts a huge smile on my face. Thank you.
Incredible to watch Dr K as affectionately known, do what he knows best. Salute to the Dr for his incredible skills. Watching from Mamelodi, Pretoria in South Africa
Ha! That was a fantastic jam session indeed. The piano, the sax and the boogie woogie dance. WOW! Loved every minute of that performance. You're like a magnet Dr K. other musicians just stick to you. Well done all :)😀🙂🎹🎷🎼🎵
That put a massive smile on my face before I went to bed. 😎 It is so awesome to see a younger generation show of their talents to the world with Dr K. What a blast. Best of luck to both girls and Dr K keep doing what you do. 😎
Your absolute best vid. Those two brought their talents with them, for sure. Very well done, all !!! --- "Crossbow", USA - BMI, songwriter, producer, sound & recording engineer (former pro touring/Live). You were all GREAT. Wonderful improv.
I can't play any instrument, but I love brass instruments (mainly sax & trumpets). So under-used in today's music. My love for them probably started with Madness! She's very talented!
My favorite one, unexpected because I didn’t see the sax in the thumbnail, Laura has a beautiful tone on her alto, and to mesh right in with Brendon’s style was great to see, very talented and fun to watch!
So full of life 😃 isn’t music wonderful, I’m a retired pensioner, and my heart gets lifted when i see people natural and enjoying life ❤. Let the music play on 😇 lots of love to everyone out there under the sun and stars ✨
Moi, petit français retraité, qui a le bonheur de voir tous les matins des personnes qui vivent heureux avec la musique et qui remplissent nos coeurs de compassion et de joie de vivre. Merci à eux.
I missed the livestream however I thoroughly enjoyed the Saxaphone playing and the dancing by the young ladies. St Pancras visitors surely get to see and hear some great talent plus see and hear you - thankyou.
Was für eine zauberhafte junge Dame....eine Könnerin ihres Fachs....ich könnte stundenlang zuhören.danke Brendan...schön das es noch solch Teenies gibt....das gibt Hoffnung....
