On dancing to Santana, I always remember seeing an interview with him where he said something like, "so you start playing, and all the girls in the front row start dancing 'different' from how they normally dance, and the funniest thing is watching the looks on their guys' faces. They're looking at her, looking at me and they're like "What the hell? She don't dance like that for me!", and I'm like, "Hey man, you're still takin' her home..." " 😉😎

This was THE summer hit back in the day. I was like 7 when the song came out, it was literally played everyway between 99-02. On vacation we always turned the volume up on our car radio across the highway. At night we could even hear it outside the clubs from our hotel room xD. Thank you for bringing back these memories :')

Girls, I'm not sure how you didn't get up and start dancing to this one. It's infectious. Wishing Carlos a full and speedy recovery. He collapsed onstage recently. He's had to cancel six shows because of it.

This song is over 20 years old and could be on the radio today also I think this was the first huge crossover song you have a Latin rockstar and then an alternative rockstar a lot of times didn’t mesh well or didn’t even think they could be crossed… this is still one of my top 5 favorite songs of all time. Also side note that I just realized thee girl in the vid was his gf at the time an now still his wife 😍😍

My first encounter with Carlos Santana was in 1970, when the album abraxas was released, and i was hooked. There's no doubt that there is many guitarists out there, many of them are good, and some of them very good, but there is only one Carlos Santana! From the first note you hear who's playing. Not many guitarists have that ability.

Carlos once said in an interview that he doesn’t play the guitar, he makes love to it, and that is certainly true. Rob Thomas’ girlfriend at the time and now his wife is one of the dancers in the video. She’s wearing a white top and colorful skirt.
