Factually inaccurate, the engine used for this game was borrowed from a third-party company, whereas the Persona 5 engine was developed in-house by Atlus themselves. The aesthetic and presentation are the only thing Catherine and P5 have in common. Other than that, good video!

Catherine got me into persona so it will always be one of my favorite games. When i heard about the remake, I knew I had to replay it a couple hundred times again

When I first played this and saw him open his mouth like a snake swallowing an egg after seeing the blonde chick in his bed it genuinely scared me as a kid. I thought he was gonna eat her or something.

I played through this in two days many years ago. Doing so, I kept staring so intently at those blocks that when I was finished, I couldn't sleep the whole night because every time I closed my eyes (I didn't wake up horny, shut up in advance) I just kept seeing cubes moving. It was actually strange and somehow unsettling.

i'm actually looking forward to the remake. :D though i do wonder how you'd get Qatherine, seeing as the old tick-o-meter (that's what i'm calling it, lol) is back. and in the PS3 one, you either get Katherine, or Catherine, or dump them both. in the remake, you shoot for Katherine, Catherine or Qatherine now. but i have no idea how you'd dump all of them. maybe Atlus made it so that you can't dump one, and have to be with either one...i don't know. i'll have to wait until September 3, because that's when it gets released to Europe, to find out. :)
