Am I the only one who noticed that the bottom row of the sentiment cut very crooked. You are correct, it is a smooth cut - but soo crooked, and on a very small cut! Disappointing - love the self sharpening blae though.

Yes the "hoppy halloween" is mega crooked, While she keeps referring the fact that you can cut mega straight... 😫, i am sorry but i've seen many comments on other video's where people (me too) say that if you cut a square, it is also wonkey, this trimmer is not 100% straight ( although the wonkiness here was not the trimmers fould) . Love your channel, really.. and all your ideas too, also think you are such an amazing person, seen many of your fab video's and think you are SO brave and tallented!! so i don't write this to be mean!

I have had this trimmer for quite a while now and I love it. It stays super sharp (self sharpening) and I wouldn't dream of using any other trimmers. I tried various types before I found the Tim Holtz trimmer and none of them were as good. TFS xx

TU for the tips. I have had such a problem with this trimmer. My paper slides while cutting eventhough I hold that guard. But I will continue to try.

Hi Thank you for sharing,never owned a trimmer,but have been extrazagent and purchased an expensive planner and hoping to make my own inserts,some laminated,so the cuts need to be sharp...could I do A5 papers with this...just cant work out how?

I am in search of a new trimmer for card marking. I heard how precise this trimmer can cut even the slightest strips. Will I be able to use this trimmer to cut card stock for an A2 size card? (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) Thank You! Nina

Yes thats what i love about this it cuts a full sheet of cardstock but has a small footprint

I just got my trimmer couple days ago and question regarding blade. If I put the blade completely up it drags against the metal bar when I start to cut. Should it be caught at the top? Or am I using it with the blade too far up? Thanks for any help.

I was doing that in the beginning also. What I found was I was pushing the cutting arm towards the cutting edge. Next time you go to use it, try moving the cutting arm down to just a hair past the other side of the cutter. Then make sure your paper is where you want. That should help you avoid that drag on the cutting arm. Hope this makes sense.
