Surprised he didn’t mention anything about Brian Ferentz. Yes our QBs have all played poor, however the coaches are responsible for recruiting the right players and developing them. 1 year of bad QB play is one thing. Multiple straight years with different players falls on coaches

Yeah, the fact that an OL is coaching the QB’s and running the Offense. Dude has had absolutely no business in that job. Should be coaching O-line or a used car salesman. You can see by the look on his face on the sidelines that he is in WAAAAYYYYY over his head.

@@buzzwc7388 Before Brian was the OC he did in fact coach o-line here and had good success. Now that he switched to Qb/OC our o-line has fallen off a cliff. Most Iowa fans do agree that there will be no big change with the offense until Kirk is no longer HC. Hopefully when we fire his son this off-season Kirk walks with him and saves us the buyout money. Iowa football needs a new direction with re-alignment and no more divisions

I mean, the Gophers are in a good era for athletics the past few years. Football has been better under Fleck. We suck at basketball, but hockey is still great, volleyball is good, and we had the greatest heavyweight wrestler in the world in his prime for a few years

I love the tears so much. Iowa didn't get hosed it was the correct call. They only got hosed by their offense.

The point of the rule is so that one team doesn’t get an unfair advantage over another team. Did any players on Minnesota slow up because cooper was waving people away from the ball? No they didn’t. Why? Because nobody on that defense thought he was waiving for a fair catch. No referees (one of which MUST watch the punt returner, its literally his job) said that he made an illegal signal during the play. Just some lone loser probably from Minnesota that was sitting in a replay booth figuring out how he can salvage the loss for Minnesota. I’m 50 plus years old. I’ve watched football both college and NFL for as long as I can remember. I have NEVER and I do mean NEVER seen this call made in the manner it was made. As a matter of fact I know of two other games that I watched the same day where the returner waived off his guys then fielded the ball and advanced it. Guess what…no flags. Because that is what a real ref decides, did this give them an unfair advantage? No, then it isn’t a penalty.
