East Tennessee high school art teacher here who routinely plays Tycho sets (audio and video) during silent sketch sessions in which no talking is encouraged: THE KIDS LOVE IT. Seems to improve their effort, mood, and output. Please come east, Scott; the Appalachian Mountains are calling!
Isn’t this guy amazing ! I am so happy I stumbled upon his music years ago- it really got me through some tough days! Much love to the artist Tycho and to all who read this. Always be kind and compassionate to others…it’ll make its way around to you some day.
I think it is very good, cause when it becomes pop it becomes shit. The best music lives in underground. He is not underrated, you and me are his target audience, the others not.
By default, a single producer (Scott). Science of Patterns, Past is Prologue, and most of Dive was all Scott, with the exception of some guitar in Dive (Zac). Then live band shows started happening and they eventually got Rory and officially became a band for Awake and after. Sometimes solo sets and DJ sets happen, but now the solo sets are referred to as "ISO50" sets.
@@tricatmeows Thanks tricot. I just got introduced to Tycho a couple years ago by a beautiful friend. Didn't hear much more about Tycho til last spring when they gave me Awake, Dive and Epoch CD's. I'm hooked!!! Loving the videos!!!
First time hearing this artist. Immediately checked if this was a Boards of Canada member. I can see why this artist isn't respected. But still, enjoyable music that I hope broadens the horizons of newer listeners of the genre!
