Just put Tyger lander drop steps on my new 2022 2500 Silverado They seem very well made and tough. The finish seems good. Is it powder coat or Bed liner? Also 20 some ft/lbs was not enough imo I gave them more than that.

Just ordered these from Amazon for a 2008 ram 1500 quad cab. Watching the video of the installation and looking under my truck where the tape is on the frame, I don't have any more holes under the taped hole. And along the edge of the body under the doors aren't any holes either. Is there a different install for the 2008?

Correct, the 2008 model year is the last of the 3rd gen Ram which will be different from the 4th gen application shown in this video. For a 3rd gen quad cab you should have model number TG-SS2D35178. If you have a different model number please reach out to our support team to verify - support@tygerauto.com.

how do they hold up in the winter with the salt? any rusting? i got some ionic nerf bars currently had em about 8 months and after the first snow and salt already rusting ugh

Do you have to drill the rockers to put the other brackets on or are they optional?

All of the current vehicle models require no drilling whatsoever. Drilling is only needed for a small number of older models so if you have an older model let me know and I can confirm for you.

@@TYGERAUTO I have a 2016 ram 1500 and I don’t have any holes on the pinch welds nor the rocker area.

@@racecardon829 Any Ram models after 2012 should have holes at the pinch weld unless there is rusting or modifications done to the rocker panel. Can these work in tandem with the stock rock sliders? Any recommendations otherwise?

No since 1) They likely use the same holes to mount and 2) The sliders will block access to the brackets from being mounted. We don't believe there is any other option unless you remove the slider.

Ours is non threaded support holes and The front and back work fine but our middle support holes aren’t deep enough to allow us to insert the 8mm bolt and nut plate what do we do?!

The front holes for the brackets of my 2018 ram 1500 seems to have different holes/inserts sizes than the center and back? Will it still fit? The center and rear holes look exactly like the ones in the video but the fronts are smaller and seem to be threaded. Do yall have a customer service email I can send pictures to verify? Thank you!

@@TYGERAUTO I have same issue. I have smaller holes on front driver and front passenger that will not allow the bracket screws to pass through. Do you guys send out replacement screws for those front holes of the truck??

Was this issue ever resolved? I have the same issue- it seems that nuts have rusted to the point that they no longer accommodate an M8 bolt, what would be the recommended fix?
