I like to make this model neither too bulky nor too thin. I prefer hook models with a long shank so that the proportions are clear.
The thorax is made of peacock herl and the thorax back is made of the dark barbs of pheasant side tails. I found the brown-dark-grey color to work better in combination with the rusty brown of the body. And for the legs I use teal duck barbs or partridge barbs.
For weight I use tungsten wire and to help the body to stay slim enough I use a Sumo Power in 50 DEN color A5.

Hi Lucian. Do you fish with micro jig flies using an UL spinning rod for white fish? Do you tie any such micro jigs?

Hi, Yes, I make small jigs and they suit for light spinning fishing or for big fly rods. Why are you asking? Would you like to see a movie with this type of streamer? :)

I would love to see a XUL spinning micro jig video. A micro jig for silver/coarse fish like roach, rudd, bream. Do you make such micro jigs. I would love to see how you make them. Thanks
