2012 -2022 Ten years on, and that tie is as fresh as ever. Terrific. The only critical bit is getting that feather central on the shank.

Davie, this fly has changed my fishing, this and the plain caddis you tie with the same wing. It is absolutely the most productive fly I have every cast. Thank you sir!

Caddis patterns tied with the wings like you showed here are my absolute favorite. But tying it in a parachute style, never thought of it. Always in the classic style. This sure will be a new "weapon" in my caddis flybox. Greetings and tied lines from the Čech Republic 🇨🇿.

Hi. New to tying and live in the states. Learned a lot from your videos. Sure you have heard it many times before, but I think it takes another mention. Your work and your flies are great "really great" quality. You can see the passion and craftsmanship that you put in to them.. Just wanted to say thanks for the knowledge you have given me. I hope to achieve the quality that you put into your flies.

Excellent Fly. I've been avoiding tying parachute style Flies, only because of the difficulty of tying off the hackle. This video really helped. Great method!! Thank You...

Davie, You continue to set a quality and efficiency standard few can achieve. This will go in the box next to the Bloom Caddis we discussed a few weeks ago. Regards, Ron

Hi, Davie Another beautiful fly in a long list of your beautiful flies. Does this fly represent more of an emerging caddis with the "cocoon"-like mallard feather surrounding and covering the body? Thanks again, Joe

Davie Love the dying video you did with the strung feathers. it gave me the push to start dying my own feathers. is there a different procedure to dye the darning yarn like you used on the midge pupa?

that darning yarn its not that thick i would like to see if they have it in a sewing shop! that yarn looks to be 8 times thicker than the 8/0? before adding the hackle the fly looked like a Canadian GOOSE :) awesome tye bud!

Thanks, Davie... Should have asked first time, but the dubbing in the video doesn't look like it's got much guard hair in it. Do you mix with all the guard, then take some out, depending on the fly being tied? Mike

Hi Davie Another great vid thank you. Are you still using bug bond? I tried clear goo but it cures tacky. I have both the thick and thin. It was a little less expensive than the bug bond thats why i bought it. Does the bug bond cure tacky also? Ive been making cork poppers and have to use 2 part epoxy because the clear goo actually peels off after about an hour in the water? Any suggestions? Thank you again for sharing. Paul

Hello Davie, Wondering if you use any of the other colors of Regia darning yarn? Also wondering about what mix percent you tend to with the rabbit and mole dubbing? Thanks for the help, Davie... Mike
