I recently stumbled upon Tyler & I have to admit he had me at hello with his unique vocal’s & absolutely great voice! He is a breath of fresh air! Hope he stays true to his roots! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Everyone says he’s sober now. I didn’t listen to him when he wasn’t. But I’m glad he’s sober. He looks and sounds amazing! And I just love love love this song! ❤
My wife and I were at this show. Amazing concert. He was just as good as we could have hoped for. Definitely a concert people should go to if they have a chance.
I have pulmonary fibrosis, I have been with my sweet husband since high-school, I play this song for him sometimes, I can't sing it to him, I lose my breath, but I hope he knows, I love him till my lungs give out. Forever.
This song is the song my daughter and her boyfriend say is their song. She made her boyfriend the sweetest valentines gift with pictures of them with lyrics from this song. We love Tyler Childers!!!!!
When fans fly across country for one show, you've reached a pretty high point in your career. And you're 💯 correct, he's in a class by himself. Supremely talented and a f*cking lyrical genius.
Just listened to Tyler singing this song today. My son told me about him and I'm sure glad. I LOVE this song! Such a talent and true to his roots. Love it!
@Sandi Ragan Bullard GOAT!? still catching up to all of "RED"s music but it's his learned since he was borned & raised, use of "kentuck vernacular" as genuine as that "damn good feelin' to run THESE roads", I've not heard since the 2nd season of Justified, Ms. Bullard, you aren't wearin' a side-knot sleeveless dress first one dancin' in his Whitehouse Rd video are you? ❤ GOAT? i'm catchin' up...
i was at that show aswell, what a dream come true it was to see him live. sucked that he had to cut the show short but im just happy to see him at all :)
Tyler is awesome! Best song ever! Love his voice! Our son and his girlfriend went to his concert last year from Maine to the State fair in Tennessee?? I think😊
October in Eastern Kentucky--YEAH. Almost there......and September isn't too shabby here in the Commonwealth either. Hope you're back "home" now and enjoying it where it isn't boiling hot or 6 inches of snow on the ground.
you don't know much more than that if a COUNTRY label is what you tag Childress with. granted, before sobriety, his vocals weren't powered out as much as Staleys, but listen to him loud, w/o watching WhiteHouse Rd. Staley reborn, if Layne had just finished a plate of hot steaming buttered grits, with a big slab of fatback and 2 homemade biscuits w/ pear preserves. before the next syringe full of Mexican Tar....maybe it's just me. idk could be fans of Macklemore

Yeah, it's probably best you don't attend one of his concerts. Go see the symphony or an artist that writes garbage songs that nobody wants to sing along to.
@@michellesommers2010 lol you missed my point completely. I think His voice and songs are so amazing that you can't help but sing along. BUT I don't want to hear the audience sing them, just him.
@@Johnny-es1wl I didn't miss your point. You said it yourself "you can't help but sing along" I was saying if you don't want to hear people singing along then skip a TC concert and go to a concert where people just sit there silently. People are gonna sing along at his concerts. I had no problem hearing him sing his songs even with the audience singing along. I took my son to a Motley Crue concert and Vince Neal was so out of breath he couldn't sing but a few lines of each song...if it weren't for the audience singing there wouldn't have been a concert🤣🤣 Not gonna have that issue with Tyler Childers! Trust me, the vibe at a TC concert is so cool you won't even notice the people singing along✌️ You could always get ahold of Tyler and see if he would be willing to do a private show just for you!😊
To me, this song sounds like a love for a drug. Either marijuana or cigarettes; combined with the love he has for his wife. Not sure if he looks “happy” in this. I think he appears reminiscent and kind of sulky. Like he’s missing what made him tick while he is also singing about it. Just look at his facial expressions; I definitely wouldn’t call all of them happy. He just seems off to me and quite removed.
You must not have seen him sing many songs....his facial expressions run the gamut....back in his partying days when he played to a crowd he had some really stoic stares off into the distance. I much prefer him like this! Every line of this song speaks to his relationship with his wife over the years. Watch him sing " Creeker" or his cover of " Space and Time" if you want to see some crazy facial expressions lol
I wish the crowd wouldn't sing so I could hear tyler sing. The ladies next to we're singing so bad. I paid a lot of money to see and hear tyler . Why does the crowd sing the song
You aren't the only one that paid a lot for your ticket! Maybe you should just go see a concert featuring an artist that writes meaningless drivel. When someone's music speaks to their fans' hearts people are going to sing along at the concerts. Is everyone supposed to sit there silently? I am pretty sure Tyler Childers doesn't want to stand on stage singing to the morgue all night every night.
I think we just saw a huge lawsuit regarding this topic… and ED won… Thank God or we’d have to have less music… a chord progression can’t be only one artist🤦♀️
@@AlphaAchilles He came out in support of BLM a few years ago. Recently he wrote a song and it was also supporting those same ideals. Tyler was afraid that people were getting lost in the lyrics without understanding the meaning, so he came out with a statement to make sure they completely understood what the song was about. I’m sorry I can’t be more specific than that, but the information is easy to find. I’m just not interested in keeping up with him other than what I hear occasionally, such as this. I loved me some Tyler, but I also loved me some Chris Stapleton and he went woke. Then I find Hayes Carll is woke, too. I guess it’s basically all of the new, so called “country” artists.
