I filmed/put this up for Tyler/Town Mountain for free - if you could SUBSCRIBE to this channel, I'd really appreciate it! This song was co-written by Jesse Langlais and Tyler Childers.
I say he's very humble, came out and didn't want to steal the show, kept his hands in his pockets, sang the song, gave Kudos to Town Mountain and walked off the stage before the end of the song with a quick wave. Now that's badass!
Lol, that's how it's always supposed to go. It's how to show appreciation for allowing you to come up with them and be part of their show, not being any part of said performers. It's showing more than just one thing, with one action without speaking. Respect, appreciation, gratitude, admiration, etc
Dylan Mcwhirter, the guy next to me at this show was a nurse and he was wondering if he was gonna have to administer Narcan to Bobby Britt. He had those painkiller eyes bad.
Timmy boy must be a wild-man. As I see it in those eyes. I’m highly trained in the art of spotting people like myself. Lmao He also seems to be a hell of a guy. From all I’ve heard and read about him. He’s one of my favorites since first learning about him.
Now it's a formula. Timing, key, cadence can all be overlayed from 12 pop country songs on one track and won't sound off because it's literally the same shit
Can anyone tell me what Tyler says just before walking off the stage? The crowd roars approval…I’ve listened at least 10 times and cannot understand it! 🤔
I hesitate to share this music because I fear the mainstream will destroy its purity like they do everything else. Apart of me wants this to be all over country stations but the other half wishes it to stay down low, under the covers, where we can truly enjoy it.
@@michaelhedgepeth5106 I'm not there yet, but my dad just turned 79. He's finally feeling a little old, but at 75 he sounded like you. "I still feel like a kid!" At 71 he started a fistfight with a big ol' youngster!
My first concert was Randy Travis when I was 3 in 1989. I "left" country music by the time I got into middle school. I've been searching for years for real music that isn't metal. 33 now and I'm convinced REAL country music is alive and well. We, The People are getting our voices back. Now we just need Hank3 to re-enter the fold.
I've always loved that look that Tyler gets when he's on stage. That look that says "I don't trust anyone in this crowd, everybody is a suspect". Just the permanent stink eye while he belts out some angelic lyrics lol
For sure but Tyler sure does make my heart heavier too. He really feels into the hurt and pain within the human condition and you can feel it in his voice and lyrics.
It's so entertaining to me seeing people say his new stuff sounds like him starting to sale out... If all his music was the same he would just be a norm. Sorry my friends this man is a true artist. Writing his own music which shamefully doesn't happen much these days. This man changed music for me in all the right ways. I'll see you with our hounds in heaven good sir!
Paul Lamphier he hasn’t sold out a bit in my eyes. You can wander a lot and still be in the same genre. Looking forward to see what the future holds for him and his music
This song sounds better live here than the album version. I am so thankful for RU-vid. I would never get to hear this otherwise. "Do my eyes tell my condition does my breath show were i have been am I talkin any louder than the company that I'm in." I think I have been there once! Thanks Master Swa! Absolute Gem!
You ain't kidding, I have had several different versions of songs on my playlist that were better than the originals. Lost a few from copyright issues. Not all perfection is created in a studio...
My goodness Tyler is amazing. His voice always gives me chills. He is so talented. Not very many artists that talented making music these days. He has definitely been one of may favorites for a few years now.
So much love for Tyler! ;-) When you see me out tonight tearing up the promenade People stop and step aside so I can move along Is it just because they're friendly or the fact that I am gone Stepping over lines of the paths they travel on? Living on the high side Better keep it on the low down Get to feeling just right Think I'll have to go and sit down Do you reckon that they notice? Do you think that they believe? I've been getting into meanness on the dark end of the street Do my eyes tell my condition? Does my breath show where I've been? Am I talking any louder than the comp'ny that I'm in Living on the high side Better keep it on the low down Get to feeling just right Think I'll have to go and sit down Sweating like a preacher in the presence of the Lord Shaking like a leaf in the middle of a storm Jawin' my bone, trying to make you see I wouldn't much fret if my friends were all here But there's people in the corner and they're starting to stare Having a ball poking fun at me Living on the high side Keep it on the low down Get to feeling just right Think I'll have to go and sit down Living on the high side Straighten up and try to act right Keep it on the low down
I’m down south in Australia & I found Tyler about 3 years ago. Along with sturgill, billy strings, Chris Stapleton & town mountain. This is the music we all need to hear....not the bullshit mainstream stuff. I come from the mountains down here & this music just soothes my soul. Marcus king has popped up as well. If any of the above artists see this comment, or our breathren in the US can get a message to them, can you please send them down here. We need them Cheers Damien Stephenson
When you light the cigarette you didn’t finish last night and try to chase the day away for something to go down with ease that hasn’t began yet ❤️ this song
Ain't no doubt about that! Me too! He looks so happy 😊❤️🙏💥! I'm hoping he'll grow his hair longer again. I loved him when he looked like they drug that boy straight from the Kentucky woods. I had to laugh when he just waltzes up to the 🎤 with his hands in his pockets & sang this song. My favorite video so far is "House Fire" ❤️
