Getting sober may have in fact saved his life, so for that I’m thankful. But there’s something about him being drunk that makes it sound even more pure than it already is.
Tyler is absolutely blasted and you can really tell how hard he’s trying when he’s picking that guitar but still doing a better job than 90% of modern country artists lol
@@719vol I was at a club and some dude high on shrooms introduced himself to me before playing a round of pool with his friend. He literally would hit 2-3 balls in each time he had his turn. Cleaned the table on the other guy and then hit a near impossible 8 ball shot around the other guys balls. Speaking of muscle memory. That being said, I do not condone such behavior-it just surprised the hell out of me
Them eastern Kentucky boys are saving country music right now, never...ever...discount any state in our great country, because when you think one of them might be insignificant, you don't realize the contributions they're making. Us Texans love the hell out of Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, and Tyler Childers...they make the old legends of Nashville very proud.
Guess what, genius: people don't have to like what you like. I like the song, but if I DIDN'T, that would NOT be an indication that I don't know what good music is. It might mean that we all have different tastes. Don't be stupid.
I wish Tyler would release his version of “Sad Songs and Waltzes,” possibly with his Senora May. He does a great job, and adding her voice to it as she did here adds to it.This is definitely the best version of this song I’ve ever heard.
You and I both brother. THIS is better than any stage, or show you can get too. True real tunes for the soul, and in the moment. Out of 28 years of professional music, I'd take this over a crowd any day. Cheers brother!
LYRICS BEFLOW for The Wounder and the why. 1st song is Sad songs and walzes by Willie Nelson. LIKE SO IT CAN BE ON TOP. I Tried. The walk in is empty On the right side of the bedroom The drawers and the dressers are empty in beers She took all of her records And all the good dishes Theres hardly a sign that a womens been there She took the yemi I bought her She didn't steal my nelson She sworn off us gingers So it would seem But I beg you good money That shes runnin with another He don't hold flame to the likeness of me Theres a note on the table I'm skimming it over As the rain beats down On the tin roof outside And I cant help but notice That spiteful young woman Ran out with my clothes Left is soaked on the line I don't understand I'm a likeable man How the hell could she leave this behind Theres questions big as oceans floatin around my mind But the one I keep askin is the wonderin of why Ironin aint called for And coffee is easy Biscuits are tricky My cookins a crime But guitars and woman They come and they leave me With lovin and six strings I'll surly survive With lovin and six strings I'll surly survive
This mofo is amazing, best acoustic singer I've heard in a while. I've seen hundreds if not thousands of musical acts of all kinds, this dude is very high on the list. I miss these sounds I grew up with.
I got into Tyler Childers early and I really miss the early TC with him and just a guitar. There was something just raw and special about that. I have seen him a number of times and boy were those good shows!!
Love this guy him and his band was so good to me just like a brother I will never forget touring with them can’t wait to see another show even though I’ve see dozens
These people probably didn't know how lucky they were to have seen him in his element in such an intimate setting. Ol boy is eating big time now. And he seems to have him one hell of a squaw
It had to be hard for him to get sober. He was having fun in this video with her. Old country church was great but it seemed more like work than pleasure. Hes a great man and musician. Im proud of him. But i miss that sound he had. I'd rather it be how it is now for his sake. He's great either way
I'm writing a song all about you A true song as real as my tears But you've no need to fear it 'Cause no one will hear it 'Cause sad songs and waltzes Aren't selling this year I'll tell all about how you cheated I'd like for the whole world to hear I'd like to get even with you 'Cause you're leaving But sad songs and waltzes Aren't selling this year It's a good thing that I'm not a star You don't know how lucky you are Though my record may say it No one will play it 'Cause sad songs and waltzes Aren't selling this year It's a good thing that I'm not a star You don't know how lucky you are Though my record may say it No one will play it 'Cause sad songs and waltzes Aren't selling this year
He absolutley destroys covers... him and Stapleton are the only two guys who can sing these covers and not only make them there own but make it as tho it's the way the song was meant to be sung... fucking amazing
Smelling your music like a piece of stake, just taking in your sound. And your voice is beautiful when you give it so freely. And I see how smooth you sound, old Kentucky
I have loved this song since it came out on Shotgun willie when I was like, 8 years iold. I love Tyler Childers and this is a great cover! ANd yes, it is the best Miller Light commercial ever!
Current Folk songs, with a touch of Southern Baptist sound. Strumming bluegrass, harmonizing to the basics. Epically Classic and timeless. 🥰🥰🥰 Songs that soothe the so.
I can’t be the only one who appreciated that the cell phone interruption hit on key and in time right? Like, as far as cell phone interruptions go that was top notch.
