I love this album not only because I reminds me of when I was younger in middle school. But looking back at it you see all the potential Tyler has. Like when I heard treehome 95, rusty, answer, and lone it blew me away. Great reaction to one of my favorite albums

You should do goblin as it shows a nice bridge from bastard to this, I get the lyrics might be nasty but if you've heard bastard you've heard the worst of it. Goblin's less violent and nasty than Bastard, it's where his music starts to become more melodic and stylistic

YES FINALLY, this is lowkey my favorite Tyler album. like he was mostly past the rape shit at this point, but this was the Loiter Squad era, so he has like a perfect blend of funny and serious on this album. also the instrumentals are so good, obviously FB and IGOR have better production but this album just has a certain vibe to it. so fucking good. also, i understand u not wanting to do Goblin, but honestly im kinda sad u didnt. the first like half of that album is honestly really good, and besides that it's just such a huge moment in Tyler's career. plus, Bastard Goblin and Wolf are a trilogy, you wont get the whole story without listening to all of them

Man please please PLEASE do Goblin, the entire album is NOT about rape and it's a fucking masterpiece- its HARD, BLOODY and borderline DISTURBING but it's because the story behind- its absolutely entrancing and almost psychedelic.

based on what you said about not wanting to listen to goblin because of the rape lyrics, there’s actually a lot less of it. yes, there is some vile lyrics in it and personally i do think it’s tyler’s lowest album, there are still some really amazing songs on it and if you do ever react to it, just go into it knowing it was around the same time he really started to blow up and the vile lyrics were his main staple

good idea skipping to Wolf, Goblin (aside from She, that song is actually elite) is basically Bastard with higher production value. AKA not that great especially with the hindsight from every album released after it.
