How else would they eliminate someone if everyone has a great picture? You are either lucky enough to be favoured by the producers or you'll be going home (for no reason, like Jessica says)

The panel was often rude to Katarzyna, mispronouncing her name and making inappropriate comments about her appearance. They suck. She was so beautiful.

Katarzyna deserved so much more. Even when they cut her hair mid season they say she doesn’t look like a mail-order-bride anymore.

You'd think that would be less of a reason to be rude about her hair. "OK, the hair style didn't work on you, so we're going to restyle it. Got to be honest, it is a little aging but we're going to fix it" rather than blaming her for something they did, but then do we expect better from them?

In fact, she comes across very insecure, especially with the fact that she has to drag others down in order for herself to rise, and her reaction when she got eliminated was kinda telling to me that she's dealing with something that makes her not being able to take that kind of rejection so well.. Narcissist are the ones that are trying to show they are the most confident, while in fact they are the insecurest of them all, and you can easily break their ego by rejecting them..

She was literally the head judge and mentor on Britain’s Next Top Model for a few years and honestly, she was GREAT.

Thanks for this! This is why I get annoyed sometimes bc Jessica has obviously not seen the show. Alison was very conceited. I’m not saying ANTM is all so innocent either haha but in this particular season the judges were right about Alison.

What annoyed me was that the show pretended that Allison had a bad picture to send her home when we all know it was the racism. Honestly I would have had production go into the house that night (it wouldn't have to be filmed) told Allison to pack her bags and that she was leaving the competition due to making racist slurs. The next morning (I would film this) I would get a member of production in and call all the girls in the living room and explain when and why Allison left. Then I would I say Antm does not condone such language and anyone else who used it would be immediately removed so consider this their first and only warning. If I was the show I would also announce a public apology for the incident at the beginning or end of the episode following the episode where Allison is removed.

I’m not sure that I agree. “You look so soft and pretty” feels like a comment about her makeover which they gave her. I don’t know how I’d respond in this situation but to me it feels like they’re saying we chose a great look for you good for us. Also right after that they said “look at that blonde pretty hair” to Whitney and Whitney said I love it she didn’t say thank you and they felt that was an appropriate response. To me the kind of excited squeal and “I know” seems equivalent to Whitney’s I love it.

I was thinking the same thing. I think him saying "the picture doesn't do her justice" was a cheekily sneaky way of the photographer to say "she has much better pictures" without saying it outright because he might've signed some sort of NDA agreement

There's no Czechoslovakia for 30 years now, but the Polish and Czech people like each other just enough not to make such comments. Paulina clearly had some internalised comments and projections which sadly is not uncommon in our part of the world (Central and Eastern Europe).

Maybe. From what I remember Tyra kept comparing Katarzyna to Paulina. Referring to her as a “baby Paulina” several times. Maybe Paulina didn’t like that.

Yeah. It was a bit suprising that they didn't mention anything else other than "for not being able to say 'thank you'" as an excuse, which is a bit extreme even for them to do! You could really tell that the whole truth wasn't said..

Like they could’ve just addressed the fact that she has a bad attitude and isn’t humble instead of making it about that one instance where she didn’t say thank you because I feel like it was pretty obvious to everyone that she had a bad attitude. @@oliviarivera3680 Yeah, exactly! You would think in a show like this that they would WANT the drama, so I wonder why they didn't choose just to asdress it!? It would have been much more interesting to see, not to mention that they would have done a good thing to make it clear that that kind of attitude isn't acceptable! The fact that they choose to "protect" the one in the wrong instead of calling them out, and set a "good example", says a lot about this shows morals than anything..!

@@luishidalgol, she doesn’t watch the full episodes because she only comments on the modeling, photography, and guiding aspects specifically because that’s her profession. I do think it would be good for her to watch the full episodes on her own for full context, but I can understand why she wants her videos to focus on just the parts that are relevant to her wheelhouse.

She also has a right to criticize a professional model constantly comparing herself to literal newbies to boost her own ego🤷‍♀️
