Want to let everyone know, I definitely messed up rolling 8 attacks with the Dima. I should have been making 6, so that's a big dumb brain move on my part. Will have to do a rematch at some point! -matt

Great content guys, great to have you back! If I may point out two potential improvements: -with the walls painted darker, you might want to crank up the light(values) on the wide shot a bit -switching from wide shot to top-down: keep the right player to the right, and the left player left, for clarities’ sake

As a new member of the hobby alot of war gamers need to take care of themselves. We don't all need to be obese fuckers or "skinny fat" weebs. We don't have to be olympians either but a general walk, bike ride, 1hr at the gym etc will help.

46:00 about LOTR talk, listen to an audio book or even the BBC radio drama from the 80s. The BBC drama is actually pretty close to the books and is only 13 hours of audio and will give you more accurate insight into the story than even the extended cut of the movies! The whole BBC thing is on SoundCloud!

For the raw numbers: The Fellowship of the Ring: 3hrs 48min The Two Towers: 3hrs 43min The Return of the King: 4hrs and 12min That's a total of 11.4 hours and in minutes thats 684 GLORIOUS minutes. Well worth the watch, it's so amazing. If it doesn't change your life, I'll be surprised.

One question I have is how you determine how to orient the models, because the Hive Tyrant looking directly at a wall rather then in enemy direction bothers the hell out of me. Same for the Swarmlord at e.g. 1:54:00 not being oriented towards that plague drone(?) ._.

Rule stuff: Drones are not core and won't reroll from Morty. Fly does not ignore terrain when charging (this prevents using tall terrain for free auto charges from deep strike). Chaos Spawn w Grandfatherly influence are T6 not T5.

I much preferred the hour and half cut that you guys tried last game. Don't get me wrong, more games are always welcome, but it is just so much easier to digest anything between under 2 hours. I also much preferred the edited version rather than the straight rip from the stream.

If I'm not wrong, at around 52:20 Dameki gets a 9 on his Miasma of pestilence which would turn into an 8 because shadow on the warp and then Matt successfully denies it with a 9. Is it correct or did I miss something? Great BR, always a pleasure seeing you guys playing against each other!

Some monsters and vehicles that have alot of wounds take penalties to their stats when they take enough damage, normally the 1st time you bracket is at half your max wounds and then another half of that or so is the last bracket

Some things take a minus to their movement, attacks, strength etc.

Some models (normally bigger ones like vehicles and monsters) get worse as they get damaged. So a bracket is between 5-8 wounds for example. Models might shoot worse or move less etc as they drop down brackets. Hope this helps 😁

There’s a few spots where you can commission army’s actually look up seige studios or gold standard for painting and maybe building? And look up tabletop titans unboxing they just put up cuz that was an entire army that he just commissioned

I have seen the harriden twice in warhammer and both times has been total utter devestation for the opponents. Im not sure how viable it is in a competative sense but in my expierence its perfect. It has such a weight for it. Humaninity and even chaos are small in the cosmic scheme, even a demoic demigod like mortarian are just the product of a small species reaching new hights. But the cosmos is big, and there are creatures far scarier than an angry child with a few gifts from nurgel. pray you never stray too far from path little race.

The lore used to be that their psychic power was drawn from the hive mind and they didn’t really interact with the warp at all, but that got changed in 5th edition - the idea still is that the shadow in the warp they produce shuts down/kills other Psykers and they have a lot of big brain bugs ?

Just a rules note: you can never have 12" charge in 40k, because you have to be within 12" to declare a charge, so the longest possible charge will ever only be a 11". Keep up the good work boys! You the real MVPs ;)
