Tyrannosauroidea is a large group of theropods more closely related to birds than to Allosauroids. It's believed that they originated in asia, although many primitive tyrannosauroids have been found in other parts of the world. The mostlt thrived in North America and Asia. It's the family of the famous Tyrannosaurus rex.
