University of Michigan President Santa Ono backed Jim Harbaugh and the football team during an interview Wednesday, and also touched on Connor Stalions and the sign-stealing case.
Coach Harbaugh had the coaches, players, and personnel very well prepared like a well oiled machine long before he was even suspended. Moore was the difference in the game. After that, the remaining coaches, players and fans were the second part of the equation.
Paul Finebaum is dead wrong! Santa Ono is not a clown. It is too bad that people like Finebaum parade around believing that the pen is mightier than the sword. But, Finebaum is dumb enough to bring a pen to a sword fight. Dr. Ono in just a few minutes showed he understands the impact football has on all of the University. And, I thank him for what he is doing for football at Michigan Go Blue! R.A. Levine BSE '74, MSE '75
I understand Dr. Ono is a brilliant medical researcher and her certainly is a credit to the University of Michigan! He's a real down to earth person and leader. Go Dr. Ono and Go Blue1!
Chancellor, Ono has to get with NIL and a school with an insane amount of money. The problem with Michigan is sports. The problem with the AD is the current one, Warde Manuel, and a great deal of drama from there. He Warde refuses to embrace NIL. It appears that he wants to operate nowadays, recruiting in the 1980s. Schools had to side-banks pay their players to come to their schools. In a nutshell, when NIL is now at the forefront of college sports, Warde, which he is nowadays, is late and pennies short. Because of him, we lost a great baseball in C-Erik Backinch. With the extraordinary seasons that we have had, this recruiting class is ranked 14th-15th. What is wrong with this picture.? Michigan needs a GM, like professional sports franchises. We lost the #1 recruit in the country? Amateur hour is over for not dulling the $paper. I have passed this on to the school's comment/ feedback site. A school like Michigan should have only the best personnel; they certainly can afford it. What Michigan needs to do is hire the best-ranked AD in college sports. "OU Joe Castiglione" has a varsity program year in and year out in the NCAAs. He has OU rolling on all cydlers! And get a winning-pedigree type of basketball coach of Baylor's Scott Drew. Happy New Year, Detroit-Live/LOCAL4/WDIV, & HAIL VICTORS, Always GOBLUE🏆!!!!
