These comments are a year old. Does anybody know if you could actually write USX a check for what u have left on your lp truck statement balance and pay off the truck or if they add fees to it and what happens when u pay it off

I knew a guy that bought a used 2001 Condo cabover for 21k. His truck payment was 355.80 per month. That's the way to do it.

$27 a month for insurance, 10yr old + if the rider is related to you, 18 if not related. The rider CAN'T be another class A driver (unless you get special permission).

@@HovaSwerve It started pretty good, you have alot of work but the problem is they are trying to give me short runs like 500+, that means little miles and more time. Going to talk to fleet owner with this problem.

If you are a lease driver then yes you can deny loads, however if you deny too many or become too picky you will lose a lot of money and load planners do have the ability to not give you anything due to being too hard to please.. Not saying that's what you're doing just giving you there heads up..I for instance only refuse loads to new Jersey and new york

It's not luck. On the lease purchase you can pick any truck from 2015 to 2019 bad thing is payments vary from 500 to 900 weekly payment depending the year. The newer the truck the less to your pocket.

I'm making great money now, that's due to me not having to pay my co driver because,, well she's my girlfriend so we share everything. I'm averaging 4k bring homeas a team truck, as a solo yes I made good money and only traded to teams for McKenzie.

As a solo driver, I would bring home around 1500 to 2k depending on how much I fueled for a3k mile week.

You said you were grossing around 3200, then paying 1300 in fuel, 600 in truck payment and all kinds of other stuff that basically brought you to netting a little over 300 a week. I asked you about it on the other video but you never addressed it.

I am a team truck now, this is a solo truck video! And the 1500 to 2k dollars is after AFTER all expenses. Go watch the check settlement video.

Solo otr is what I recommend, the dedicated accounts are all hands unload for the most part and in my opinion not worth it! Target is a great no touch about and home almost every night but I heard they aren't letting lease in on it at the moment! Teams is where the real money is in lease especially with a spouse!

I just talked with a Recruiter on Lease Purchase program. If a student wanna drive under you,, they'd have to go with a Trainer for I guess 175 hours, then the student can jump into your truck. USXpress will pay you all the miles you and your student drove, then you'd have to pay your student yourself. I hope that helps.

@@freewaykenworth Yes. They will take you out to the trucks they have and you will choose which truck you want. They will then service it before you leave the yard.

They dont pay you for the time wasted. Unless you find the trailer at the location they send you theyll just pay you the deadhead miles

@Food Mooch I'm sure he means well Bless his heart. We all know it's a predatory lease whether we want to admit it or not. Thank God for the information that's available from Jeff Like and Trucking Exec and others. I just hope one day soon our peers stop taking great pride in getting ripped off. Just finished my first year, I made 198k net was around 160k , I think I'm doing pretty good.

I did, in the lease purchase settlement video.. Average solo lease driver brings home 1200 a week after ALL expenses!

3k miles is average for a week

I listen to all these LP drivers talking about bringing home 1200 to 1300 a week after expenses and say it’s good money. Granted it’s alright money but you have to take out your own taxes for personal and business. You have to figure in health care in that also. So after all is said and done you might walk away with 700 to 800 after taxes. I take home 1700 to 1800 a week after taxes and medical are taken out as a company driver. I will stay where I’m at. It is not worth the headache and stress.
