Eating rest food was the favourite hobby of me and my mates at our local pub for a long time during uni years. A few years later I ended up doing a short stint as a dishwasher in a pretty fancy restaurant. Rest assured those plates returning basically untouched got cleaned twice! So for whatever little my opinion is worth, you did the right thing, miss Rouge shouldn't be so upset.

As to Bernie Eisels job situation, he's a DS at Bora and was active in that role at the Vuelta, but whenever he's not he's a commentator on the german Eurosport broadcast for big races. He did the Giro and the Tour as a commentator this year.

To put into context the performance of Morgado in his first year of U23, he dragged an injury for most parts of the year. This affected the Giro and he could not compete in LBL which is his favourite race. For the L'Avenir he was not injured but he could not get into shape because of his injuries. Still, after being Vice-World Champion in 2022 in Juniors, he followed with another silver medal in the World Champs in his first year of U23.

GIro: Ayuso, Soler, McNulty, Yates. Tour: Pagacar, Majka, Sivokov, Vine, Yates. Vuelta: Ayuso, Soler, Vine. Transfer Almeida to some team that needs a GC rider and spend the money on a rouleur. Duel leaders at the giro Ayuso, Yates. At the tour just send vine in every break (Atleast early on) and force other teams to chase. Vuelta Ayuso main leader other two domestique

21:50 That one guy trying to work in second group chasing Laurence in U23 world was Svrček. Young Slovak allrounder on Quickstep. He was having also some knee problem all year so he haven´t got much more good results. But anyway he´s capable of wining something big in the future. I was a bit disapointed you didn´t mention him in quickstep podcast, because he´s gonna do something next year :)

So I thought of a crazy format for a race and I'm writing here because I think UAE would do great in it if it were to exist: But picture a one-week-race where instead of a GC, the last 20(?) riders to finish each state gets eliminated out of the time limit and then the last stage there would only be 20 riders (of course, a shorter stage would then be needed) and they would fight for the finish without the help of a lot of domistiques. The general type of stages would be mountainous or hilly but there could be a sprint or classics type stage in there to mix it up. This format would give rise to new type of tactics and race dynamics and would be fun to see, but unfortunately it is probably a bit too crazy to be executed.

In tdf stage it wasnt raining since the 2021 so two years so i hope it rains only one mountain stage or is just not that hot at two mountain stages.

Pogi needs to focus on maybe 2-3 focus races and just train/support other team goals…he tries to win every race he enters and that takes a toll

@@MangoJasssssHe won 2 monuments, finished second at the Tour de France GC and third at the World championship road race, also won Fleche Wallone and Amstel Gold race 2 high level world Tour races. It was an outstanding season from him.

Much of this is void now that Pogi is going for Giro. They have a deep squad obviously, but like Adam Yates proved last year, if you are not willing to sacrifice Pogi, you cannot use strength in numbers for anything. Vingo & Visma-LAB knows that UAE doesn't wanna sacrifice Pogi. They called their bluff, and concentrated solely on Pogi. That's why they should tell Pogi to sit back and wait for Vingo to make the moves. Send Yates or Ayuso up the road and see how big a gap they can get. And Pogi needs to do nothing for as long as possible.

Sivakov has made a huge career mistake, its a financial decision for him and a hoard all the competition for UAE. He is going to be part of that group of top GC guys that compete against each other. How is he better than Almeida, McN and Ayuso? Definitely not near Yates.

You just know it has to be a salty Pogacar fan girl commenting like this. It's like they already forgot stage 6 of Tour de France this year, where Vingegaard attacked like 50 kms out, and Pogacar wheelsucked the entire stage until 2 kms before the line. Like a proper mountain sprinter.

negotiation tactic lol every sports team in history is a bit of a boys club. that being said still kinda corny by both parties, the best teams i have been on are when there is communication and mutual accountability, my guess is cian has a big mouth and bennett vlasov postlberger et al were not having it. right now it is all posturing and they will settle on a big number and maybe agree to stretch it over multiple years. bora doesn't want to keep an unhappy rider, jumbo wants to keep as much of the roglic money as possible.

If the app group is set up for everyone else specifically to talk negatively about him, yes. Especially in the context of this being a tall poppy situation where the rest diss his professionalism in many other situations too. And that seems to be the case. Thijs Zonneveld wouldn't make up something like this. As for the contract, EU/German labour laws apply, so Cian can leave if he has cause to do so.
