People complained about the last contract and not getting anything. People complaining now because this man is trying to present a fair contract. Y'all are never happy. Give him a chance. The last one stole (allegedly)and sold y'all under the table with BS raise and cutbacks. It's a strike. Negotiations. Last one was 44 days and pay was $250 and the people made it. We knew it wasn't going to happen overnight.

In the long run it would be cheaper to move those jobs rather then meet the demands of the Union. It could really happen then people would be wishing they could find a job that pays what they are making now. Tell the Union President to loosen his wallet. Still sitting on over 75million and strikers are getting 500 a week before taxes. You gotta call out both sides. Between the Union and the Big 3, can't tell who the REAL pimp is.

You do realize these record-breaking profits, removing all affordable cars from the lineup and jacking up prices along with 40 million CEO payouts are not the fault of the UAW? The decades-long indoctrination to get everybody to drive an SUV or a pickup truck has worked in America and people need to wake up and realize there are better options. People got around pretty well up until recently without four-wheel drive or full-time all-wheel drive in a vehicle that can't even average 30 miles per gallon and yet it's just a daily driver for one person going to and from work more than 90% of the time 😂 BRING BACK FUN/ EFFICIENT/ VERSATILE HATCHBACKS (look at the European market. I've been a Ford guy my whole life. I'm 65 years old and as a retirement present to myself I bought a 22 F150 last year. First new vehicle I ever bought. I paid cash. 64k. Two weeks ago I received a recall notice in the mail. A 2nd will be sent when the parts become available. This little temper tantrum the UAW is throwing has the supply chain all screwed up so I don't know when that will be. I do know one thing for sure. When I do get my truck fixed I'll be trading it for a Toyota. I'm tired of the Big 3 and the UAW. They're both greedy. I'm not a rich guy, I worked hard all my adult life as a truck driver. The 64k I spent was a lot of money for me and thanks to the Kentucky truck plant I have a new pickup with 4000 miles on it that needs fixed.

This Guy thinks he’s James Hoffa Junior. Give me a brake with the theatrics. He’s a radical be careful in which you wish for. It sounds like a good deal for what’s coming in this economy, look an see how many cars are being sold now bc every lot I go by is packed like I’ve never seen in my life time. An let’s not forget Mr Hoffa I mean Sean made 400k off the union last year keep that in mind an he won’t be able to unionize any none union car makers like Tesla or Honda and so on. They will give there employees just enough to make it not worth while. An frankly I don’t think they want to bc of this type of take no prisoners type of attitude. I agree with there being corporate greed however the big three good go under for real there not in a grate spot an if they do go under an have to file bankruptcy, then what any promises made for when you retire will be voided out look at yellow truck it was 100 year old freight company with the Teamsters. All their pensions were lost in the bankruptcy. If it happened to them can happen to any or all of the big three. So my guess is he is will to take this deal and that is why he read it all out. He will wait maybe till the end of next week to accept he has to save face bc he promised the sun moon an stars to you guys just to get the votes he needed to bc president of the UWA and now he’s worried about the backlash witch is going to be big bc the bottom line when you look at it he hasn’t gotten anything big r reinstated and it’s over 5 yrs I heard not 4 years if true just think about that an do the math on the 23 % raise not so BIG the union has there own back don’t you forget that they make a ton of money off the WORKER there only paying you 12.50 an hr to strike maybe they need to give you a strike raise!!!

What plant do you work at? I work at Jeep, and the tone is changing quickly on fain. He keeps talking about the big 3 trying to instill fear, but he's the only one threatening long-term reputation damage that is going to cause a horrible reverberation. You can tell he wants this to drag on as long as possible so he doesn't drain the fund by allowing all plants and workers to simultaneously go on strike to work the best possible deal in the fastest time, but no. Instead, this allows the big 3 to secure near zero interest rate loans in access of 100 billion+ so even if sales and production are halted, the companies are 100% fine while we keep losing more and more week after week. I bring home an easy 1400-1600 a week, but the longer this strike goes on and I'm only getting 500 a week, it will takes near a half a year or more to recoup the funds lost from the strike. I know people taking loans to pay medical bills right now. You can hear it all on the line as more and more are getting fed up with fain grift of instilling fear.

The union is demanding that they get a 40% pay increase and they are putting that on the table because of the amount of money the companies have made . That is the dumbest thing to use for negotiating in a situation like this . I'm a unionized worker and when our union goes into negotiations with our management , we all understand that it's give and take . That's what negotiating is , that's fair and that's the American way . Who wants to bankrupt the company they are working for ? I'm sorry that this guy is responsible for representing the UAW labor force . Please correct me if I'm wrong , but if the workers get compensated when the companies profit , wouldn't it be fair that they have their paychecks decreased when the companies make less or even losses money ? @@Corn_Pops_Rusty_RazorThat wasn’t your original statement. You said the irony was that the CEO won’t take a pay cut from his 21 million per year to increase the workers pay; which in reality would increase their pay by less than 50 cents. But anyway - the CEO makes 21 million. Fain makes 178k. Absolutely no comparison and how would Fain cutting his pay help the members? The members are the one that elected Fain. They know what he makes. They know what the strike pay is. They signed a contract agreeing to the strike pay. It the CEO was paid nothing and his 21 million per year only accounted for less than 50 cents per hour when distributed across the board for the members, how far do you thank a decimal of that, Fain’s 178k, is going to stretch? There’s no irony there, just math that doesn’t add up or make sense.
@Corn_Pops_Rusty_Razor
@Corn_Pops_Rusty_Razor 10 месяцев назад
@@ziggy149 the CEO makes roughly 13x the pay of the workers, Fain is making roughly 8x what he is paying the picketers. GM makes their money off the backs of the workers, Fain makes his money off the backs of the picketers standing outside all day and are only making $12.50/hr, struggling to pay their bills. Fain should either take a pay cut to work in solidarity with the members or raise their pay. I thought we were all for $15/hr minimum wage. I guess not when YOU have to pay the bill. It's also ironic you say the members knew what they were getting involved with when they signed the union contract, isn't the same true when they agreed to the job with the auto maker? I get it, when your team is playing you look the other way at penalties just so they can score the goal.
