I drive for doordash and Uber eats. Door dash offers r so much better than Uber eats for me. I would rather deliver for door dash. I like the app better too. Just my opinion and experience.
Yep me too love my door dash getting high ratings from customers and to hear it from Uber my satisfaction rate is trending down?! Not doing anything any differently- Uber is just 😩
@@princellasmith7562 yes, That whats annoying..I've declined more today then delivery. Im taking not $2.50 meal and 20 miles. Uber eats should do like platform by having a minimum amount
I typically use Uber eats more just because I can do orders any time I want and don’t have to schedule myself. Idk what it is but lately I have been able to dash pretty much anytime but it only lets me like 1 hour at a time then I have to dash again even if I’m the same zone. Kinda weird but I’ll take more access to orders any day! Omg I love the bloopers at the end! 😂
It's just Uber Eats for me. I have a full time job. My hours change frequently so I prefer UE because I can hop on the side hustle whenever I choose. The other reason that I personally just do UE over multi-app is just because I prefer a more relaxed side hustle. I multitask enough in my day job 😅
I prefer Uber eats more. Because in my area, the orders pay way better. Base pay wise. Plus, acceptance rate and completion rate doesn't matter with Uber eats. I've had base pay on Uber eats upwards of $30. Probably because in my area, there isn't many drivers. So the orders sit a while. Also on Uber you can go online whenever you want.
The best part of the video was the Bloopers section. Please increase the time you allocate to them. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 And BTW, DD initiates weekly payout after Sunday, and payment can hit your bank by Tuesday. It really depends on who you bank with. I have JPM and I get my money in the wee hours of Tuesday.
Uber Eats is better if you also do Uber rideshare. It is more dynamic and there's less waiting time between orders. There's been many times I'd be waiting on a DD or UE order and get a good Uber rideshare job in between. Sometimes I'm just ending a rider drop-off when I get a UE order. Meanwhile DD is still searching...
The most important difference is UE allows customers to tip bait but DD does not. This is why all things being equal, I will always prefer to take the DD order first over UE. 🤔🤔🤔
I was waiting for her to say you can get your money off your dasher card with no fee at the All Access ATM in CVS or Walgreens. I like this way better and I get paid after every dash.
Can someone help explain this to me....? Why would someone order Taco Bell from a restaurant that's 18 mi away from their house when there's a Taco Bell 2 miles from their house? Are they just getting the restaurants confused and ordering from the wrong one? Is it DoorDash or Uber Eats picking the restaurant that we're picking up from? How does that work? Thanks. Sending love from Los Angeles 💛💜
Sometimes a restaurant is not on the app. When I check DoorDash for a restaurant chain, for example, it only shows me a few examples of that restaurant. It doesn’t show me every Taco Bell in existence. Some of them are not listed on the app for whatever reason. This is true for mom and Pop stores too.
I lived in these apartments that where by inches in a different zip code than literally the apartments in front of us. So when I ordered from Pizza Hut it would go by my zip code and order from the nearest one in that zip code even though the zip code 10 inches away has a Pizza Hut way closer.
I’ve been doing DoorDash about 2 months, but Uber eats initially said my vehicle was to old. I drive a 2005 trailblazer with less miles than most 2016 cars or newer. Yesterday I got an email saying I was approved and could start doing Ubereats, all I needed was to confirm my license plate I suppose I’ll find out tomorrow if they lied. 😂
My AR is in the 30's right now so I have to schedule. Not happy with that. Very little time now to dash. Unless the zone goes red. Uber eats has been better but not as busy.
I’m in the NY Market and do both apps . Seems if your AR rate is low Door Dash ghost freezes you. Uber constantly sends bad mileage to dollar orders. Both stink but I earn more with DD. I get more red card orders and other shopping orders which pay decent. I’m still not in the large order or “cater” program yet. I don’t qualify.
Uner pays me better. I work in Dallas Texas. Just FYI, some of your information are inaccurate. For instance, Uber does not require driving experience to do Uber eats. To drive passengers however, your driver's license must be at least one year old. Check that out.
This morning December 3, I get an Uber delivery that comes in $25. 1 mile but it doesn’t say where it’s going and that was an alarm that went off in my head, I was able to call the customer they were 25 miles away from me which is 50 mile round-trip Uber tried to screw me I canceled the trip..this is the stuff they’re up to these days not just these days ..screw the drivers they knew no one was gonna take this 50 mile round-trip.. remember you new drivers.. you don’t get a pickup where you drop off!!
Unfortunately in my area with DD I cannot get on the schedule. I think there's too many people in the early schedule program and I can't get anything even right when it comes out. I may get lucky sometimes and get a few hours if I constantly check it. So I have to resort to UE which is actually pretty good within my zone.
I agree. It really depend on your market! Lately from what I've heard, ubereats has been horrible. Doordash is the big player in my market of Racine Wisconsin. I've been running Doordash for the past 4 months. I haven't done ubereats in a while.
I use DD and Spark. Afraid to try more bc I have never done the 1099 deal. I just started back in February and make dgiid money. It's second income as I ha e retirement. I use Solo and just haven't figured how to pay quartly taxes. Do I pay them at the end of the year? I have them saved in another account. TIA
I'm about to switch to Uber Eats. The only way to be successful is to be at platinum status but it's so easy to lose. My ratings are great but just because my completion rate dropped to a 94 it took me from platinum straight to silver. Even though I completed 3 or 4 more orders after that it still didnt move up one percent. Once you lose platinum, it's hard to get it back. Most of the time, it won't let me schedule for days at a time because the blocks are already filled in my area and just as quick as dash now appears, it's gone just like that, making it nearly impossible to get back to platinum unless you time it right.
Uber eats is gross and shameful in my area. I get rare good pays to miles however I have like 10 percent acceptance where as DD I like way more and get way better offers!
From my experience. DD is consistent in decent orders. UE is either great or trash. Just takes sifting. Question: I pretty much know that AR matters on DD. I have scientific proof. Do you think it matters on UE? I get great offers at 54%. Also trash. I have a reasonably high AR on DD . I get tons of decent orders, but not many bangers. Thoughts?
My favorite is UberEats when it was decent in Boston but now it’s finally dying down because nobody is ordering anymore and I’ve found that there is more UberEats drivers that speak Spanish and not English has made it more complicated too. Boston is turning into like the new manhattan with new buildings coming in and no parking and everybody leaving Boston for sure. Right now my favorite app that’s not neither one at the moment but more roadie because they pay you more then $100 for certain deliveries to be delivered but I’ve done like $10 prescription orders to start but it does demand on what you can fit in your car too. I’ve seen about $50-$120 and sometimes $150 worth of orders for a long drive outside of Boston as well. They don’t do food deliveries but more items and etc. but it’s worth it. Roadie is looking for new drivers as well!!!
Hey Lady , I believe DD has the majority in this area as well . Not much for any of the other " major " delivery companies . UE runs well but seems to be attempting to " catch up "at times . Thats 'bout all I have right now . I hope all are well .
I just started with door dash the app is a lot more easy to use I just logged into Uber driver app and I’m a little confused do I need a separate app for Uber eats I want to drive Uber eats not regular Uber or is the Uber ppl app the same app as Uber eats
Interesting that you get cashed out of DoorDash on Fridayday's and Uber Eats on Wednesday's. Here in Cali we get cashed out Sunday after midnight for both DoorDash and Uber Eats. Wonder why it's different in different areas. 🤔 💛💜
