I love how my crz looks and i hope you do too, but one thing i get asked a lot is about my wheel specs so today Im going to break down my favorite wheel set ups and how i calculate my poke to find that perfect set of wheels! hope you guys enjoy this long as heckk video, cause i enjoyed making it for you all! :D

I'm also going with staggered wheels, 17x8 front and 18x8 rear I think it would flow better with the design of the body. I'm not racing it but I am going for looks, until it's paid off I'm not Doing any mods, I need to finish off my 4th gen camaro.

The set-up that I'm building for my Z is 18x8.5 +30 front 215 40 and 18x9.5 +22 in the rear also with a 215 40 . Not mounted yet for I'm waiting on my coils to arrive to put it all together. Picked up a set of ESR CS2 graphite wheels

@@UbanteGarage yes stock but I will be rolling ,pulling and cutting the liner. Im planning on going widebody at a later time though

Rolling the rear doesnt do anything unfortunately 45% of the arch is bumper. So rolling and pulling will just ruin the bumper fitment. The wheel is gonna stick out a lot but the stretch will stop it from rubbing but it’ll definitely be “mexi flush” with the front and rear sticking out about 18mm

Rolling the front can fix the front but the rear isn’t gonna do anything but mess up the qp. I always suggest only shaving the rear vs roll/pull

GREAT VID MAN LEARNED ALOT! I just wanna ask how about if I run reverse staggered on my honda crz 2013 model but in 18s? What would be the disadvantage havving it on a reverse staggered? Thanks man! Im from the philippines btw. Sending my support from here!

Super rad! CE's are my all-time favorite wheel. I just got a ZF1 and have been binging your vids. I snagged a set of 16x7 +46 Gram Lights for it. 205/55 should look good with some coils.

Keep up the good work man. you're amazing, and might be the only one on youtube helping lost CRZ owners out there :P Actually I just bought an EX 2011 manual which happens to be my first car. and my daily, so I just want to ask, what do you suggest for someone who wants to keep it simple and straightforward, looking good, good performance, good on gas. no mods needed. I'm not sure exactly what spacers or offset are, and I don't know how they effect, or what to go for. That's why I'm asking.

Crase Aeon thanks man! Only thing you need is 25mm spacers for the rear 15mm spacers for the front. Drop springs, a pair of camber bolts then an alignment and you’ll be golden! Thanks again for the kind words and welcome to the crz gang! 👊🏾😁

it was weird tbh. i ran 17x9+35 all around 245/40 front 225/45 rear but i guess the tires had low rolling resistance cause i was pulled 50 mpg

Aaron Hernandez - Depends on what you want... first, are your fenders and qp’s rolled or pulled yet? I’d recommend you either get 17x7.5 +40-48 all around and run a 25mm on the rear or 17x9 +35 all around and camber the front -1 to -1.5 degrees

Thanks for the info, bro. Вut why do you have 17x7.5+45 with a 25mm spacer wider than 17x9+35? 7.5*25.4/2-45+25=75.25 mm 9*25.4/2-35=79.3 mm Am I calculating wrong?

The spacer changes nothing but fitment. The rears on these cars are wider than the front for no reason and I run reverse stagger for handling purposes

Hey dude, love the video! I'm looking to get a set of new wheels for my crz and I found a set on ebay close to me that are 17s and it says the tyres are uniroyal 205/40 R17 Y XL Rains port 3 (speed rating 84y) and the PCD is5x100. I'd be so grateful if you could advise me whether those would work on a stock crz or not? Peace bro!

Thanks man, I have pretty much no idea about wheel specs so I'm trying to learn. As long as they're 114.3 pcd and 16/17" and no wider than 8" would that fit fine? I don't really want to use spacers or anything if I can help it.

It’s all about calculating the poke. Diameter and tires affects the clearance in the wheel well. Perfect poke stock is +55 front +75 rear

I had a 2014 Cr-Z that got rear ended and totalled in 2017. and i've been watching your vids in the meantime to help me cope. JUST got a 2013 with lowish mileage. going back through your videos for mod ideas and tutorials. If i'm trying to go reverse staggered for mountain runs, would 17x9 in front and 17x8s in back without the spacers, would that be better than running with spacers? i guess i could add spacers whenever im just trying to have fitment? sorry i've tried understanding wheels and fitment from forums and youtube but i just dont fully get it.

I have federal ss595 225/45/r17 I just orders a set of 5x114.3 17x9+30. Vors TR-4. I am stock everything. Do I need to return these or am I good, I don't want to rub or use spacers. Thanks for your help . James

its gonna rub a little without modding your fenders. id shave the rears flat and roll the front and run some a little camber

What do you mean by the rear is unadjustable ?

Music8649 solid rear axle. The rear axle is adjustable if you swap it with a fit axle, and use shims. Other than that there’s nothing on the market available at the moment
