I'm kind of torn on Ghost of Yotei. On one hand I loved Tsushima, it's one of my favorite games of all time. But I also really want to see more from the inFamous franchise, it was so much fun and Second Son was my reason to go Xbox 360 to PS4. Still I'm very much looking forward to Yotei. I wonder if Insomniac would ever consider doing a game like inFamous? They did the Spider-Man games and Sunset Overdrive, so it would definitely be in their wheelhouse.

Following the release of Starwars Outlaws, I have come to the conclusion that I will no longer be engaging with Ubisoft products. I am confident that there are others who share my sentiment and are similarly dissatisfied with the quality of their games.

I do really hope Ubisoft sort these out, they need to get new people in with fresh ideas, they make beautiful games but they are always so dull and empty, they’ve taken their supporters for granted, rinsed people of money, overpriced games, content hidden behind pay walls such as the different additions or passes, they’ve taken advantage and now people are walking away.

Ubisoft is a dead company walking. There's nothing they can do to Shadows to make it sell well and they've probably got another 3 years of games in the vein of Outlaws and Shadows in the pipeline. I guess they could pull the plug on them, fire all the leads and start over, but I doubt they can stay in business long enough to get a new game out. No, what they'll do is rush all the crap out, further damaging their reputation and make gamers hate them even more.
Ubisoft HAD to refund everyone since the head start and the season pass NO LONGER exist. As such legally they had to refund everyone that preordered since they were no longer going to deliver what they sold to players. The developers that made the RockSteady Arhkam games are no longer at the studio as such them making a new Batman game is not going to be on the same level of the old Arhkam games. Sony has doubled the price of the OG Horizon Zero Dawn game from $20 to $40 with the announced of the remaster at $50.
Ubisoft knows what they did wrong and I don’t think they will course correct. How about the video game companies stop releasing games to the public that still require a lot of patches and they stop attacking/aggravating fanbases of established loved characters and universes. That’s one of the reasons that Suicide Squad game got such backlash and is failing. I have been playing past games or console generation games as a lot of the games coming out are not interesting or worth the money they are pricing the game is. I gave up on Ubisoft for their IPs after how a coop of Far cry 6 turned out. It felt bland and it seemed ridiculous a couple times the storyline. Garcia actually going to the dictator who clearly isn’t even going to parley was smooth brain of her. I give credit to the performance of the voice actor for the dictator as a positive. But I felt and so did my cousin who I played it in coop, that out of the last 4 far cry, Far cry 3 was great. Far cry 5 was better than 4 and 6 we agreed. Assassin’s creed, I stopped playing their games after black flag which was a high point in the franchise.

Went back to playing manor lords, lol. Managed one of the hardest achievements, the Merchant... still can't get the Restore the Peace one though... Winning it on challenge for the Challenge Accepted or doing the Mercenary Captain is totally out, lol. So not happening! Still it was fun getting the Merchant achievement and I finally finished my Cheerful Metropolis achievement too. That last one I was taking my time on. All the more fun though!
Now that AC Shadows is delayed till February, they need to remove the online requirement to install the physical disc. There is ZERO reason for it, other than the fact they said "Get used to not owning your games", so they can inevitably shut down the server. Even if it's the greatest game ever, I won't pay for it unless I own it. (I know even the disc is technically a license, sure, but they can turn off the server with a button, they will NOT be coming to my house to ask for the disc back, I would LIKE to see them try)
Nintendo needs to at least have their next switch be as powerful as some current smartphones or even some older ones because that Tegra chipset in the switch is almost a decade old and some chipsets from snapdragon are way faster, it doesn't have to be the latest but at least 2022 level speed or people will just buy a steam deck.

I'm replaying Baldur's Gate 3 as The Dark Urge. I've never played that character before and it's a completely different game. Even has some horror elements in it. I'm having a blast again! Tha game will never get old. Act 1 gets old, but the overall game does not!
What games does the Switch have though? I’ve already beaten both LOZ games, I wasted money on Pokémon for the last 10 years and I’ll probably never buy another one. It just seems like most switch games are just mobile games. I’d love some suggestions of games to try.

I will never buy a game that was started on Kickstarter again. I have done it twice and both times the game got stuck in pre-release and eventually stopped getting supported and never had a full release. I really believe that companies that use that platform are about just getting as much money as they can and leaving us all for suckers. Never again.

Missing Lunar 1 and 2 Remaster news. It's in the works with new voice actors. Don't know if the new actors are the ones from the PSP Remake or just new new, but just happy to be able to play Lunar 1 and 2 again!
Im replaying WD Legion and it showcases one of Ubisofts biggest issues, especially when it comes to the DLC for the game which was very good but the game bad. That Ubisoft has lost touch with Gamers and become reactionary only when projects they put out that were directed by people who are complete morons and get rid of everything that made their prior games good and introduce mechanics and gameplay nobody wanted or asked for. WD’s and WD’s 2 were great, WD Legion horrible. They took out just about everything that made 1 and 2 great and introduced a poorly thought out and implemented mechanic nobody wanted and it took the DLC which brought back prior characters and a very small portion if their mechanics and made them playable in the main game to make the main game any good and worthwhile to play.
